Did not receive items from last deal. No communication from Coles.

    • Got refund ?

      • +1

        Nope. Still waiting.

        • +1

That makes two of us. Would not recommend.
No communication for two weeks, sent them emails. Order cancelled and got a generic eBay message, no communication from Cole's.
Purchase showing as refunded in my eBay but haven't gotten the money back yet.

          • +1

@BringAPlate: I had the same problem. I ended up having to contact ebay (online chat) and they opened a dispute for me, the refund got through eventually but it took well over a week!

        • lol, why would you still wait ? there's a phone line yeah? pick up the phone and vent !

    • +13

I got refund for items they couldn't fulfil. Most of it was fulfilled and they clearly specified what they didn't have in stock. And delivery was quiet quick!

      • +1

Well none of my items were fulfilled. They never told me that they didn't have any stock either.

        • +1

Your order might've slipped through as mine only took a day or two to process. If they haven't responded to your emails just contact eBay and they should sort it out for you :) You might even get a voucher to use.

          • +2

@knight321: Called eBay, the opened a case for me. Coles never responded. Escalated case to eBay. Heard nothing since.

            • +1

@askbargain: They missed sending Pepsi. eBay gave full refund.

            • -1

@askbargain: Keep pushing for it. And once it gets refunded ask eBay via live chat for a $49 voucher given that your order didn't process and that you tried using a voucher you were entitled to. Good luck man :)

            • @askbargain: Same here

        • When did this happen? Cause we had a few items not received. However, all the items listed in ebay said refunded.

          Best to check your emails.

Must be a glitch when they do a partial refund.

      • Me too. I think it’s more to do with the coles store who would’ve handled your order. They mustn’t be up to scratch with the whole online ordering thing

    • I had no problems with eBay Coles, received everything in about 4 business days. They didn't fulfil everything due to stock but did get refunded for those items within a few days, no questions asked.

    • Same boat here. I escalated the claim via PayPal.

    • Ordered during last deal. By far the worst online purchase experience I've ever had. They gave a delivery date. Then at the last minute, changed date to 10 days away. Tried to cancel by phone and email. Three seperate staff assured me it would be cancelled. Order arrived almost two weeks later. Staff never apologized for the inconvenience. Avoid at all costs!

    • Same! Contacted them twice to be told "it'll be refunded" then "we don't know how the eBay purchases work, go through usual eBay channels". EBay seems to just be refunding me random amounts rather than what I paid and couldn't tell me which GC they refunded to or why the amounts don't matc. And for out of stock items they aren't sure if it's been refunded. 3 people in my fam ordered, items missing or out of stock from all.

I wouldn't bother with them again. Not worth the hassle opening a case for the items individually and chasing them up after that.

Coles range on ebay is a joke. Often doesn't have some sizes of products so you end up paying more. (Or no home brand product)

    • This. Range is limited to things which don’t go off, and then the size choices usually don’t include the better value and larger quantity items you would actually want to buy if it was being delivered (eg last I checked they didn’t have the 24x600mL bottled water). If the range is improved I might look again but I’m pretty sure I’d struggle to hit minimum spend for a deal with the minimum range they offer.

    • I noticed they begun extending their range with perishable items recently. The range is still poor. I guess it is quite hard to implement the same range as you have in your local Coles, because different stores have different ranges. So, pretty much, they take a minimal intersection – the items presented in most Coles in sufficient quantity. Otherwise it will require a quite deep integration with ebay (I believe it will happen soon).

Negative from me too for not fulfilling my order and wasting my time in finding and selection of products.

  • +4

I’m still chasing $16 refund for goods I never received.
I unsubscribe eBay plus because of that. Crazy. No communication whatsoever.

  • +4

one piece of advise for those thinking of buying from rbay coles, pls check coles feedback on ebay making surr u are happy with those neg comments before proceed further

from my own experience, the $15 off is not worthed ur time chasing them for refund. i had been chasing them for refund, they replied minimum 3 days later, replying they had refunded me, i asked for evidence and they keep quiet until today, it has been a week or so

before that they and ebay threw me like a pingpong ball chasing for refund and i am a buyer using both ebay service and coles, found out this is so stupid of me trusting coles ebay

    • I usually just use photo evidence to push the case and then I get instant refund.

    • Online orders are store specific. So feedback on orders can be very contrasting. I’m sure the majority of feedback (posted or not) would be positive. I never left feedback on my order and it went exactly as planned

    • +2

Many of the negative and neutral comments are stupid on there.

They don't receive one item (and get refunded) they neutral or neg everything.

'Arrived just after the window… '

'if I knew it was Coles I'd walk there'

I saw another idiot saying they gave me aids

      The percentage clearly isn't accurate.

      • Till something happened to you all negative comments are funny… so don't underestimate someones pain or negative comment…

        ~ Leonardo Tmnt ~

        • Many of those comments are no better than YouTube comments…

  • Received sweet potato from Coles instead of bag of almonds, got a refund though.

    • Can't really blame then for that, I get the two confused all the time.

      • LOL. It's a wonder they remember what their own car looks when it's time to leave work.

  • +5

Not again. Not even for 75% OFF. Had enough first experience with them.

  • Well I had a @# ing part with the 50% off and will sober down with this one :)

Can’t beat this one on grocery front right now BTW

Don’t forget to use your 5% or better Ebay cards for more juice !

  • I've purchased multiple times from coles on ebay, never had a issue with the refunds.

though the range is very limited.

  • +3

Had the same issue with delivery not being sent and having to chase Coles and eBay for a couple of weeks in order to get the refund.

  • +1

Gonna go ahead and add to the pile of negs on this deal. Horrible experience last time, would not reattend for anything less than $75 off a $100 spend.

  • Never receievd my order from that 50% off deal, and had no communication, even after I opened a dispute with them. Took about 3 weeks for me to receive refund, and in the end no communication frkm coles ebay… seems hit and miss with coles ebay some seem to have received theres. But unfortunately they've lost my trust. :(

  • Coles online is a joke, if you don’t use PayPal forget about refund if there is a problem. I had to lodge a Paypal dispute to get a refund for my first order which couldn’t deliver as I wasn’t home. No redelivery

    • The last delivery Coles just dumped it on my doorsteps WITHOUT ringing the bell. I only knew because of my camera and I was home. Not impressed.

  • One of the worst online shopping experiences I have ever had. Avoid at all costs.

  • How could Coles get it so wrong. No refund. No items. No communication.

  • +1

excludes QLD Far North, QLD Regional and QLD South East

Excludes Queensland altogether? That’s everywhere in Queensland!

  • Ordered last time and 30% items were not delivered and was told out of stock.
Why did you accept order if you can't fulfill so annoying.

  • Spent $100 last time, $75 worth of items were not available and were removed from the order a few days later.

  • Ordered with the $49 off, 4 of the 11 items I ordered were out of stock and of the 7 that were due to arrive only 3 did. Sent customer service requests, opened cases with eBay. In the end I somehow actually lost money.

  • +1

If you do this, you'll be wishing you just paid an extra $15 in store to avoid the hassle. Huge muck around

  • my last order went through well. The refund was received 1-2 days after they noticed me.

  • +2

No problem with the one order I made. All items in stock. I managed to pick a 2 hour delivery window for no extra cost. A few hours before I got an SMS narrowing it down to a 1 hour window and the delivery showed up on the dot at the start of that window.

I could not have been happier.

The only reason I won't use this one is that I hardly ever buy $100 worth of stuff and all the long life pantry items I can use to bulk up the order were already part of the last one.

  • the problem with Coles Online is their stock availability; if they want to make the experience of Coles eBay as like walking on their supermarket aisle, then they've failed miserably !

An example of this is just a simple product like Wrigley chewing gum (for a friend), the only one available in Coles eBay is Strawberry flavour; no peppermint, no spearmint et al.

  • +1

Avoid like the plague. My order was cancelled but even after 8 separate calls to Coles Customer Service, no refund was issued. I finally got fed up and raised a case with PayPal. PayPal finally issued a refund yesterday (a month after the original order).

    • Can you explain how you raised this with PayPal? I am in your situation where I have contacted Coles customer service multiple times with no action.Still have not received my refund

      • Just give PayPal a call. They can raise it for you.

  • Ebay plus is a joke!

  • +1

Coles eBay is just a joke. Last time ordered a batch, they cancelled without reason. Just called them the next day and they said it was "IT issues". Asked for a redelivery, they said because It is a eBay order we could not do redelivery. They said nothing they could do and a refund would be automatically forwarded in 3-5 days which never happened. Had to open a dispute with PayPal and they refunded promptly. Before proceeding to PayPal I contacted eBay coles rep and they never gave a reply. Customer service wise it is just appalling. Never again.

  • +1

    Negative previous online experience

  • Coles ebay is absolutely terrible. They will cancel your order with no communication and leave you to figure out wtf happened yourself.

  • I hardly give neg to a deal, but coles failed me not just twice but three!!! i got nothing from my last $49 off order and still waiting for a full refund after weeks!!! Absolutely terrible!!! I stayed away scams carefully in my life but I seriously learnt a lesson this time! From now on, I will stay with ww 5% gift cards.

  • Updates: Goods arrived with many missing items. And I receive ebay delivered notifications for all of items.
    Wow!
