My purchase from last time shows the item was tracked and the normal CB is pending but the bonus $2 is nowhere to be seen. Should I be concerned?

    • +8

Not at all. If you read the OP/terms in that post:

      (10) AUD $2 bonus will be credited to your Cashrewards account as approved by Nov 30 2019.

      • So the bonus amount doesn't appear as pending under My Rewards?

        • +5

That's correct. It will be added/credited (approved) to your account by Nov 30. This new offer will be added/credited (approved) by Dec 10.

  • Just wondering, fairly new to purchasing on Amazon, will this also apply when items are purchased through subscriptions?

    • Can you elaborate? I don't think that purchasing Prime would count, is that what you're asking?

      • A few of the other purchases mention using the Subscribe and save function for 10% off just wanted to know if purchases conducted this way will still receive cashback

        • I noticed when you try to subscribe to an item it doesn't technically add it to the cart so I'm thinking probably not.

          • @sparkles: Yeah that was my thoughts also… wish we could get a Rep answer on this query, saw it was asked a few other times in other threads also but haven't seen a definitive answer. @tightarse can you provide some input?

          • @sparkles: I just read thia after subscribing. Should I cancel and repurchase without subscribe?

  • Amazon = amazing, was my first thought on the tittle.

Amazingly expensive maybe. Price of book I want from Amazon US: $15 USD (about $21.60 AUD). Same book with .au manually inserted by me into the URL: $80 AUD.

      • +1

That's one experience mate. For the majority of scenarios, Amazon is a great alternative. There will always be edge cases such as yours though.

      • +1

Yeah exactly.. everyone knows a store is only as good as their worst bargain.

Take Woolies or Coles for example. They're stupidly overpriced cause of that one time they had bananas at over $10/kg. I'm not gonna be fooled by their weekly specials!!

      • That just means the US seller doesn't ship to AU, and the AU seller has set a higher price. Amazon is a marketplace, as well as a seller.

    • Won't things like this turn up a melted mess?

    • Good work mate, made life easy!

    • I did 3 x Tim Tams, but the total after GST was deducted was $4.95. This is below the $5.00 minimum 😦

        Don't worry:

        (3) AUD $2 bonus is eligible when making a purchase of AUD $5 or more (inclusive of GST, after any discounts, and before shipping).
        (4) Amazon sales report to Cashrewards ex GST so the amount shown in your account may be less than $5. You will still be eligible for the bonus.

Got to admit this is a good promotion.. Just spent $40 to save $2 hah.

    • +3

Hehe I just waited with things in my cart in hope Cashrewards would do a promotion, glad I got $2 off 😂
So strange - I got like 5% off maybe but enough for me to pull the trigger

      • +6

You're probably aware, but just something everyone should be careful of:

        Special Terms
        • IMPORTANT: Items must only be added to your Amazon cart after clicking from Cashrewards. Ensure your Amazon cart is empty before clicking from Cashrewards, as items added prior to clicking will not earn Cashback.

    • I purchased a low cost $6.80 item, so $4.80 after cashback. Good deal.

  • I’m still waiting for a couple of previous few Amazon CB offers

  • Glad I waited ;)

  • Was thinking about getting those TaoTronics headphone posted yesterday as a present.

    Pushed me over the edge.

    Thanks OP.

    • +2

Just $2, you must have already be very close to that "edge".

  • Thanks OP

    @ Tightarse

Amazon is forcing me to use "promotional credit" issued in compensation for a recent order cancellation. Will this offer still work with promo credit?

    • +4

You should be able click the change payment link and at the bottom of the expanded section that lists your payment methods, there will be a tick box for your promotional credit.

      • Thanks, right you are!

    • +3

I don't think so, but you can purchase something else to "use up" the credit, then make the purchase you want to get the $2 cashback on (charge to your CC) then cancel the first order and you should get your promo credit back!

  • Pepsi Max 30 cans/$19 seems OK, weather's getting warmer.

  • Will this work with coupon codes?

EDIT: Looks like a no - Gift Cards, Vouchers, Charity, Non-Profit items, and Amazon Prime memberships are ineligible for Cashback.

    • +1

      I think you're confused.

"Gift Cards, Vouchers, Charity, Non-Profit items, and Amazon Prime memberships are ineligible for Cashback." - means your purchase is ineligible for Cash back if you buy Gift Cards, Vouchers, Charity, Non-Profit items or if you purchase Prime membership in a transaction.

You can still make any purchase using a voucher code (if the seller has one). Cashback will be calculated towards your final order total. (After discounts, promotions and excludes GST and Shipping)

      • Yeah sorry forgot to update my post, it's the same as shopback - you can use coupon codes as long as they're listed on the website.

"Coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards may invalidate Cashback."

        • Not necessarily.
Hence it said "may invalidate Cashback"

I have purchased items from Amazon using voucher code that wasn't listed on Cash Rewards website but was still able to score the bonus.

  • CR is on a roll. Keep up the good work.

  • Thanks TA. Can rest assured knowing that I don’t have to rush and make the purchase until 11:59 on the dot. Go CR!

    • -1

      … That's because $2 is chickenfeed compared to $10.

  • Thanks TA. 3M strips are good

  • (5) If $5 purchase is made up of multiple items from different sellers still eligible as well?

$12.99 for black tshirt version of Running Motivation Dinosaur tshirt in size M, L and XL, good present..

  • +2

Can you do a 12% off like the competition did the other day?

  • +1

We were actually in the market for one of these: juice/water containers https://www.amazon.com.au/Sistema-Klip-Litre-Juice-Clear/dp/…

  • This never tracked for me. (No ad blockers btw)

I know the $2 doesn't get paid until Dec 10, but what about the 5.6%? That never got tracked, which leads me to believe the $2 won't be paid either. When the $2 is paid, it's a separate $2.00 and not a combined figure with the percentage cashback.

    • If you lodged an untracked claim and Amazon approved it, the $2 will be as well. Also, please note it's a lot more than AdBlockers that cause issues. 3rd party plugins like Honey, use of unlisted codes, having items in cart before purchase etc etc. Thanks.
