So basically one for half the price of two?

  • I had a look on the crucial website which said my computer (Dell Inspiron 15 7580) wants a Crucial 16GB DDR4-2400 SODIMM.

Does anyone know if this ram would be compatible with my Inspiron?

    Thanks.

  • Hey guys, I'm currently considering upgrading parts of my build starting with RAM - I intend to start a Youtube channel so I'm expecting to delve into some video editing soon - 1080p at most.

I currently have 2 x 4 GB in my system, which has been enough so far for my uni work and occasional gaming (mainly esports titles). However, I have noticed that sometimes Chrome and other background processes use a lot of RAM when I'm multi-tasking with other programs and have many tabs open.

I'm thinking of getting either the 16 GB mentioned in the post or even 2 x 16 GB. What do you guys reckon? Any thoughts on this matter would be greatly appreciated. Cheers

As long as you have a good CPU and over 8gb of Ram video editing should be a breeze. one 16 should be enough two would be overkill.
