The screen is literally less than half the supported resolution of some of the consoles it purports to play. This will be a terrible experience.

  Screen is fine. I've used similar Chinese handhelds and there are various scaling options.

    The scaling options are up to the emulator you use. If you play GB games yes the graphics will be blocky but that's part of the charm!
    
    Where as higher res will just be scaled down so it runs faster, perfectly happy with that too.if you want high res and smooth graphics…you should be looking at an Xbox x deal instead.

  Buying and using the console isn't illegal. Downloading some of the games are actually ok to do now as copyright have run out so it's now public domain.
  
  Some games are still copyrighted so technically if you download and play them, yes you are breeching copyright if you do not have an original copy.
  
  Nothing wrong with the deal. It's what you play on it that might be in the grey areas.
