Wow they had these in the 17th century.
Goes to show time is just an illusion, and we are forever stuck in a run-of-the-mill loop of reality.

These are great for listening to Baroque

If it ain’t Baroque don’t fix it then. I’ll show myself out.

    • I bought for 319 and 279

Amazing headphones. I since have bought the WF-1000XM3s which are more convenient but actually don't connect as well to my device.

I can't really tell the difference in sound quality between the two.

    • How annoying is the neck thing?

      • +25

Can be a annoying sometimes, but without a neck our heads would roll away from our bodies. Overall, it’s better to have a neck than to not have one I would say.

You need to talk to the rugby players, they seem to have done away with theirs. However, I did like your reply :)

For anyone who has the earphones, how annoying is the around the neck, sits on the shoulders, bit of the unit?

      • I actually liked it. Far more than over the head headphones and old style wired earphones. They're just not as good as truly wireless earphones but you have to pay more for those.

Guess they're clearing out old stock. Now that the new model is out.

Still a great pair of headphones and worth the new low price.

I got these 15 months ago to use on flights. Previous to this, I had the Bose QC10 for 3 years. I thought I wouldn't mind the bar around the back of the neck, but for me, it was incredibly annoying. When you're sitting still, it's not too much of an issue. But laying down, or reclining, it'd easily rotate around to an awkward position. Also, noise-cancelling wasn't as good as the much older Bose QC-10.

I ended up selling these and getting the WH-1000XM3 which were significantly more expensive, but imo, well worth the difference.

If you want in-ear style NC earphones, then I'd suggest paying a bit more for the Sony WF-1000XM3 instead of these, or potentially the new AirPods Pro. Even at this reduced price, I'd personally give it a miss.

  • Not quite the same but consider Fiio's M5 or BTR3 you can keep your existing buds and in the case of the M5 run it independently from your phone, gym etc
