  • Is the case a portible charger for the earbuds ?

    • Yes

  • Is the GPS version worth the nearly 20% premium? I've read the GPS functionality is super limited.

    • +1

There is a function that has voice alerts for leaving the lane, being too close to the car ahead (e.g. if they brake suddenly), or if stopped and the car ahead starts moving but you don't. None of these alerts work without GPS. However, the dashcam part of the package works without it.

In mu experience, the only time the voice alert really happens is at a traffic light. It's worth $20 to bug my wife when she's driving, but the GPS module is kind of loose so never works unless I physically click it down. Unless you want to bug your partner, it's probably something you can live without.

  • Hi, the airdots chinese ver can’t do English voice?
    How is the sounds quality?
    Cheers

Thanks OP - just bought another pair for a christmas present.

To those wondering, I love these. I wouldn't say im a huge audiophile however the quality of sound in these for this price is absurd. They are perfect for working out and podcasts on the way into work. They usually last up to 3hrs before charging them in the case.

    • How well do they fit? I usually tend to workout so wondering if there was any discomfort or it tends to fall out?
      Also how's the noise cancellation?

      • These aren't noise-cancelling earbuds. They are noise-isolating provided you can get a good seal with the rubber tips. If they fit in your ears well, they should stay in without falling out.
Considering that they cost $25, your expectations should be low. This way, you can either get pleasantly surprised by how good they are for the price or you will not be disappointed by their shortcomings.

      • So most earphone buds, especially apple ones, won't stay in my ears. Its why I lean toward headphones instead of earphones.
But these stay comfortably snug inside my ears. They come with one smaller pair of buds. Obviously everyone's different but these definitely don't suffer from being too small if that helps?

      • No noise cancelling and don't expect to make calls in busy areas. The mic picks up everything

  • What's the difference between the CN and Global Version

  • Terrible microphone so don't expect to take phone calls on these.

  • I bought Airdots several months ago, and only used them about half a dozen times before the left side suddenly stopped working.

Is it not turning on at all, or just not pairing with the main one? i have the dudios free mini. I had the same problem recently. it drove me nuts, but i fixed it by doing a factory reset. It looks to happen commonly with most of these cheap wireless earbuds from what I've read in forums when I was originally deciding on which one to buy. I would try doing a factory reset first. See if that helps. you should be able to find some instructions online.

      • I think it switches on but not pairing. I can't remember as it was a little while back and I just threw it in the cupboard as I was annoyed and disappointed with it. But thanks, I'll give resetting it a go. Appreciate it mate.

Definitely do the reset mate, I bought a second pair for a workmate and they did this, reset fixed it for good.
