There is no button to submit?

        • +1

no button for me either in the Apple offer

          • +1

@herbo: Yeah me neither. Amex UX are you listening? :-P

            • @markathome: Same problem here. It's a Developer's bug not UX related.

        • No button +1

  • I have none of these on the Qantas card

  • It says for the Apple App store, it excludes third party purchases. If you make in app purchases, will that be eligible for the 50% off or be classified as third party?

    • +3

Then just add funds to your App Store account.

  • Sony offer always appreciated. Thanks OP

  • no app store credit offer from both of my Amex cards :(

  • Was interested in the red Cross one but didn't get it on my cards :(

  • -2

Is it unlimited purchases on App Store for 50% off ? Or one purchase only ?

    • +13

This is why teaching people to read is very important

      • +1

Seems been able to do basic Maths is just as important.

    • Where is this clarified exactly? I had the same question and reading the description it’s not covered.

      • +2

Get 50% back, up to $10

  • Didn't get the apple one on my main card or sups, but just received an email with a link that activated for the main card

  • Also seen spend $60 at supercheap auto get $10 back on my card

  • +1

Argh just bought more App Store credit and my default payment setting was PayPal (it didn’t mention this prior to submitting the request). Is there any way to cancel this transaction?

Nvm: support live chat reversed it

  • Bought $25 credit got $10 back no prob on app store

    • Are gift cards eligible for this offer?

      • Nah its a direct credit purchase via app store

        • Gotcha, thanks

        • Thanks. Spend ages to find out how to charge to credit card instead of Apple ID balance to no avail.

Just add fund to Apple ID will do.

    • May I ask how long it takes to get the Amex confirmation email, if any?

Topped up $20 at around 7pm but did not get any email.

  • Didnt get the apple store promo via log in but got an email with a link at around 9am. If you are in the same boat, check your email

  • No App Store on AmEx Explorer either

  • Any way to get the whole credit for Apple TV+ seeing as it only seems to be a $7.99 monthly plan?

    • You receive credits for payments made until March, so continue paying as normal and get credits back each month? Essentially $4 for the first 2 months and $6 for the 3rd month.

      • Ah right, awesome thanks

    • Just use one-time-top-up to load $20 onto your iTunes account from your Amex.

      • So you can pay for the subscription via iTunes?

  • What's good to buy from App Store? :D

    • +1

      Apple Arcade maybe?

    • If it counts towards in-app purchases, then Disney+ subscription in a couple of weeks, or if you had previously setup your Netflix then you could pay that off.

      • I don't think in-app purchases goes through Apple App Store payment though?

        • I don't see why not. I get an invoice from Apple from my Netflix sub.

  • got it on my Amex Velocity platinum but it wasn't listed on my offers, got an email and accepted it through that.

The email link i got for Apple offer:
    http://email.americanexpress.com/a/hBdwJ9kAQB6DpB90EcQNyLrAz…

  • $3 for the TripView app and save the trips
don’t have to select stations anymore

  • No Apple and SCA on my Explorer card :(

Can I BUY GIFT CARD FROM HARRIS FARM AND GET REWARD?

  • It won't let me make my Amex card the preferred payment method as I have $60 Apple ID balance remaining. So I cannot pay with my Amex until my balance is used up it seems :(

    • Depending on if you care about such things, you could try setting another account up and use Family Sharing?

    • Try following the instructions here and move your AmEx to just under the Store credit payment method. Then top up your account. I was able to top up my account even though I had credit on my account.

Note the preferred payment method for the store is different from the Wallet and Apple Pay section in Settings.

      https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201266

    • +1

You can add to your balance by buying credit. Buy $20, get $10 back. Someone above has confirmed this to be working.

      • +1

Yes that trick works - add funds to Apple ID - put your amex card details and go for $20 top up -$10 back

      • Sorry, noob question

        just confirming the steps
I have my Apple ID balance in positive
and then can see American Express (Apple Pay) listed under
        Manage Payments.

If I click edit I can add or remove cards but can not adjust and bring American Express card to top in priority.

So if I click add funds to Apple ID
Then select Other amount and select $20
Then it prompts me to add funds and approve
        Via Apple Pay.

Do you think it will then use my Amex to add funds and I’ll be eligible for this offer?

Is this what’ you’re referring to above?

        • +1

yes, if you add balance then where can it get the fund? must come from the next available card because it won't make sense to deduct balance using the top payment option.

          • @lgacb08: Thanks worked got confirmation email
But waiting for the actual credit.

  • Virgin wines link anyone?

  • +4

Got all on my essential cards. But damn that Harris farm offer is not as good as before

  • Those adding your card to apple WATCH OUT

When you add your card apple charges you $1 as a test run and then must return it after HOWEVER I then got a meesage from amex saying my apple amex spend has been used so I will only get 50c back!

Will call up amex tomorrow and get it sorted.

    • I think you can do it in more than one transaction up to a maximum $10 credit.

      • Its usually mentioned in the t&c as "spend in one or more transactions"

        • Damn now I’m worried! I added it, charged me $1 and then I bought $20 credit.

          • @Westpac: I dont think this qualifies for "spend in one or more transactions" as it just says max $10 back, cant see where it says in one or more.

Anyway will call up tomorrow and find out.

          • +1

@Westpac: I wouldn’t worry. Amex will do goodwill I’m sure. Also the terms don’t say on your first spend, so you should be able to get a 50% credit back, up to a maximum of $10, on your $20 spend.

            • @grasstown: Contacted amex, they said not to worry if dont get $10 back in next bill then call up and she will manually put it in. Placed note on my account for future follow up.

So in case you only get 50c and not $10 make sure to check next bill

    • i did add card and spent $10, got email for both and account showing 2 transactions pending ($ and $10). Logged in today and saw $5 credit back, preauthorisation has been removed.

Anyone having issues enrolling in App Store offer? I can't seem to find the "Enrol" or "OK" or "Continue" button after entering in my details. All I see is a Print/Save button which doesn't do anything but show a bunch of T&C in another window.

  • +1

I'm assuming Apple offer enrollments are closed now since I tried to sign up using the enrollment page but there was no OK/CONFIRM/NEXT button after the T&Cs.

  • +1

Apple App store offer is no longer there.

  • Has anyone bought iTunes e-gift card through App Store and received credit?

    • I tried and it worked. I bought iTunes e-gift card and received credit.

  • Anyone have issues with Harris farm I spent $55 for 3 weeks and no email. will wait for a few days before asking about the credit

    • Dumb question, but the offer was definitely on your Amex, right?

      • just checked there, yes my card and I had 4 transactions from when I saved it.

        • Weird. Ask Amex on LiveChat.

  • For some reason I though Sony made laptops and phones?

    • They did. I still use a Sony laptop that I bought in 2012 and they still make phones for overseas markets
