Apparently no international calls. It's a starter kit, so presumably new customers only. Not the best deal on the market, but an improvement on the previous effort.

Doesn't even match the Boost 80GB, never mind the unlimited international calls.

      and full Telstra network

    • Beat me by 30 seconds :^)

Boost's 12-month prepaid plan is still better value in my opinion + you get the full Telstra Network

      Yes, I did mention that.

  • Hopefully Google play music is unmetered at least, I wish boost/Telstra had that.

The 2 people who use it aren't enough to warrant it

    awful value

  • Not the best deal on the market

Respectfully speaking, why did you post it as a deal then?

    • +10

Because it's a $30 discount, Optus might be better reception for some people, and it gives us a market awareness of what's on offer. Are you suggesting that we only ever post the one best deal?

      • +2

Disregard. I thought you meant it wasn't the best Optus deal on the market. Upvoted

I bought a similar plan for $120 at start of the year…

    Do you get Optus sport?

  • Why would you go with Optus? Boost is cheaper (can be had for $135) more data, some international calls.

  • I think Optus wins on having a data roaming option (expensive but available), supports SMS via WiFi, and has a number of Optus perks.

So good deal for those who need the above…
…while everyone else should just go with Boost.

  • This woule be a reasonable deal for me. I will still choose Optus over Boost as I need to be able to receive sms overseas (all of my banks require me to key in sms code before I can do money transfer) and optus does it for free.

    • On Boost I believe you only require the $5 credit to make and receive calls plus send SMS.
You should receive SMS overseas for free.

  • Optus reception is better for some. Where is the Kogan 100Gb/$100/365days??

    • +1

Kogan aren't as competitive in this space anymore. Don't know why

      • Yeah, was hoping that they will better the Boost deal lol.

  • Can existing customers get this?
