these are quite frequently this price.
For a few dollars more you can get one with light up leds etc..

  • Any comments on that? I was planning to but for my new smart TV was waiting for the logitech ones k400s I think.

Been using it for a year now. Very convenient. The only thing is that doesn’t have a function to turn on/off my tv. Mine is an android smart tv.

      • My sony android tv wakes up with this keyboard and if I’m not wrong there is a “sleep” function in the settings menu(that I never use as I can just ask google home to turn the tv on/off)

    • I second AussieGargain, convenient little thing and useful to have around for a bunch of different things - eg when setting up my XBOX again, threw it in to type in profiles, passwords, wifi etc. Whenever the whim takes me to use my Raspberry Pi for something, useful there as well.

      • It depends on your use case.
Typing in a username and password? Ok.
Trying to use bash/CMD or anything else… you’re better off using the K400. I’ve had the USB version now a few years bought at about $30 on sale and I’ve never looked back. Logitech is a solid investment. Additionally the primitive USB has the benefit of being able to setup bios etc prior to pairing

        • True - only really use it for usernames and passwords, and then to control simple games.

Australian stock can be bought on eBay for $7.98. I would pay the extra $0.54 to not wait for unrelyable China postage.

  • I'm not familiar with these.. when it says "includes USB receiver (in the battery compartment)", I assume it's a receiver that needs to be plugged into a usb port on the device you're trying to control. Is that right? it's not a bluetooth keyboard? Thanks

    • Correct.
      Not BT.
