    Has anyone here travelled to Tokyo alone?

    Would it be worthwhile going there for 4 days? leave Thursday and flyback the following Tuesday?

      Tokyo is an awesome city to travel alone. Very safe and lots to keep you busy.

      Language barrier is hard but workable with google maps and translate.

      Yeah but I wouldn't go on a stopover flight if that was the case as I'd prefer to maximize my time.

        Yeh that's why i was asking, probably not the best idea but I'm looking for a quick gateway from a 5 day weekend break.

      Was there solo for 10 days, abit too long IMHO. I reckon the sweet spot would be around 6-8 full days

      I think yes, it can be done. :) Rent a bike one day, use the train another and you can see a lot. Make sure you are super fit and can handle long days and you can have a ball. Tokyo is the right place for 15 hour days.

      I would go to Gonpachi (Kill Bill inspiration) restaurant most days. :)

    I just paid for Cathay flights yesterday at more than $100+pp compared to these :'( I hate how yo-yo flight prices are… I could have had more food and drink money
