I started using this. Worked up through patches, ciggies then a pipe. Now I'm smoking cigars.

    • Golly gosh, so the tobacco industry has been right all along. Cigarette alternatives are just gateways to more harmful products. If you care about your health, stick to cigarettes :-P

    • All jokes aside after you spray this stuff and attempt to smoke you will feel ill and want to butt out.

I was shocked that with next year's tobacco excise increase a pack of smokes will be about $40.

Hopefully these will help people try to quit as they helped me.

    • So you're having the same results as an alcoholic who decided to quit alcohol using alcohol?

      • I understand your point. If you are cutting down you can benefit from excluding all those additional thousands of harmful chemicals and saving money at same time.

Obviously the best alternative would be to stop cold turkey which I am in agreement with.

Me personally I was on these for 4 months before stopping completely. During this time I saved in excess of $1,000 so I certainly would recommend these if you can't stop cold turkey.

Here's a better deal: don't spend money on smoking or anti-smoking products at all and you'll end up saving more. Shocking, I know!

      Very insightful

  • Why would I quit smoking?

100% of the people that don't smoke will die.

They probably won't die of lung cancer though…

  • dont bother with this stuff if you really want to quit smoking nicotine substitutes are not the way to go. get Champix from the doctor.

I tried Champix before and had suicidal thoughts and really bizarre colourful dreams.

Then came news it was a very common side effect (check out all the news articles about it). Pfizer subsequently had to settle a US300mil class action related to this side effect for not disclosing it.

Not saying will happen to everyone, but proceed with caution as personally it was an awful experience and many consitently had similar experiences

Good luck with quiting to all ✌

yeah thats true i know people who have sworn off it because of that but personally i have no issues and its the only thing that can make me give up smoking. and i pay $5.60 for a month's supply instead of this $46. I recommend giving it a try and see if it works and doesnt give you side effects because it doesnt to me.

True, at least there are heaps of different methods to quiting these days.

I tried everything Champix (worked possible but couldn't cope with side effects), Alan Carr's "Easy Quit" book, patches, gum etc and this was the thing that was able to control my cravings enough to cut down progressively over 4 months.

First time I quit hard Turkey, second time opted for this (after starting again 5 years later grr).

Good luck on your journey, it is so worth it for your health, people around you and finances ;) download the Quit Now: My Quit Buddy app. Gives good motivation by showing how many cigs you avoided, how much money you saved etc. I logged in now after a few years and shows I've saved over $22K

  • I'd recommend vaping over this, but vaping is more expensive to get into. If you think you can quit with just these 3 spray bottles, this would be a better deal. The sprays are pretty gross though.

  • As a former smoker who quit cold turkey i can tell you it is not as hard as you think but i do know most smokers don't want to hear/believe that.

    • I quit cold turkey the first time for several years. The second time needed help was much harder for whatever reason
