  • Would this stack with the Shopback 11% cashback offer?

    • +1

      No. Cashback excludes Coupon Code.

  • +1

    FYI from the link.
    ACTIVATE BEFORE 9/2021.

  • +1

Can you use these as just a recharge if you are already on Boost? Or are they only for first activation.

    • +2

It’s not a recharge. You’d have to port out and back in.

      • or pay $150 online to renew another year.

  • What happens after the 12 months? Are you automatically put on another plan?

    • +2

It's prepaid, once it's expired you are blocked from calls / data until you manually top up.

  • +3

How would I go about moving from month to month Telstra to this? Since it's technically Telstra would I still port or what? TIA

    • -4

All explained in older boost posts.

    • +1

My guess is you'd have to port out and then back in but maybe there's an easier way.

    • +1

Telstra Post-Paid ▶️ Telstra Pre-Paid ▶️ Boost. You’ll also require a Blank SIM from Boost.

      • Thank you

  • damm i wish i bought this one instead of the $240 ($300 deal) boost deal, i don't think i'll do more than 80gb within 1 year and 240GB is way too much shucks

    • There's been a few of these $150 deals in last couple of months.

        damm never knew waaahhhhhhh :(
        and i don't think i can get a refund

        • Activat sim and just start enjoying generous inclusions service lol.

          • @ozhunter68: what do you mean enjoying generous inclusions service? lol

            • +1

@prankster: International calls and 240GB data over 12 months, still decent Telstra Network.

      • +1

actually might keep it, if i did get this plan i would technically have only 6GB per month to utilise where as the 240GB at least I have 20GB
not that i use it alot as at home you use wifi but outside I occasionally have youtube and google maps so yeah

  • No noes…out of stock for the $150…why am I always too late to the party

  • Bought a boost $150 sim for $130 Thursday arrived today and I ported my number over from optus in less than 15 minutes.

    • That is the service I had expected but it took almost 4 weeks and 4 attempts plus countless escalations and calls for my mother in law's number to port.
The final resolution was the Boost team said the Sim had an error so they asked me to purchase another one and the port was done within 2 hours so maybe the sim was the problem.

    • Would like to ask, so do you port first and then call Optus to confirm cancellation?

      • Shouldn't need to call Optus (which you'd want to avoid as much as possible if you don't want to waste hours of your life). I got an email from Optus with the subject "We've received your telephone number port out request" once the porting process started, then didn't hear anything else from them. You'll know if it's successful when your phone says Telstra instead of Optus.

    • I got the 240GB SIM for $240 last week and ported my Optus number across in 6 minutes.

  • Good for a new service.
But when switching this boost to your old number(optus/telstra). Looks like its a long shot. Tried a couple of customer service but no luck at all. They said they will follow up but its a no.
Does any one if you guys experience the same issues when bringing your old number into boost?

  • D@mn it. I paid 140 3 days ago.

  • seems not many deal for existing user to recharge.
I personlly wouldn't go throuhg the trouble to save $10to$15 to port out and back in.
hoping to see some recharge deals soon

  • For those who missed out, Bought $150 new starter kit for $125 at southern telecom in Melbourne CBD today. They ship it for additional $5.

  • If i get this for my phone is there any way yo add cellular plan to my Apple Watch? I’m guessing not.

    • nup, you have to be with Telstra, Vodafone or Optus post-paid. No other options.

      • Thanks. That’s brutal.
