  • Genuine question, because I don't follow this stuff like I used to… Why isn't "$397 from Staticice and it's from Galax." a much better deal?

    • anyhow that ones sold out now too bad

It's out of stock anyway / was refurb? Disregard it tbh, this is the cheapest and a good brand.

    • +1

because it was a clearance item and there are no more in stock.

General consensus in the PC building community is also that Galax is a lower tiered brand compared to ASUS.

    • Yup, ozbargainer has answered your question:
      1: out of stock anyway
      2: it's Galax vs Asus

      • Ah, clearer now, thanks.

There is not enough difference to care on a card of this price. Would 100% recommend the cheaper card (unless it was a refrence design with the crap 1 fan).

      • agreed.. I have an iGAME RTX 2060 which I paid $440 from Amazon.AU back during the July sales.

also don't forget that Black Friday sales will be happening at the end of this month, so possibly will drop even cheaper (especially from US retailers)

        • Yea I hope so if this is an indication of what's to come in terms of rtx2060 price drops

  • Prices are starting to come down fast now for GPU, bloody crowded GPU market.

    • bloody crowded GPU market.

And the 1660 Super just came out

not really, has always been 470+ since March whenever ebay 15% / 20% sale

      • Yea back then with 20% but all the ebay seller increased the 2060 by $50 to $100 so no more $470. They are more like $519 now.

So the $470 price is a non-thing till the RTX2060 go back down in price. Not sure if the 2060 increased cost price to them but I think it's just the eBay seller being greedy as the normal shopfront as still okay priced. Only eBay seller increased it for some reason

wow that's 1 ugly card hopefully whoever buys it doesn't have a side window so they don't faint every time they see it

it's ok, they'll more than likely be looking at the screen and the game settings on ultra rather than the inside of their cases… I find mostly people with older cards have the time to look around the room, look inside their cases etc.. because they're waiting for the screens to refresh ;)

me and a mate just put together a 9900k 2080ti aorus build with 9 120 LL's in a 0-11 dynamic even though he's screen refreshes at 165 on 1440p ultra settings trust me we have plenty of time to enjoy the show and the view but i guess the peasants can stare at this kleenex box with fans in it ;)

        • This has to be a piss-take comment.

When price comes down to under $300 I'll be interested. That's crazy dollars.

Keep dreaming mate, it will be a while until this variant of card is obtainable at that sort of pricing.

  • The MSY CLEARANCE 2060's have been out ages before this, i spotted the prices also on static ice like approx 2-3 months ago and no stock :(.

I think they were clearing those 2060 out maybe due to the 2060 supers. But then again at one point the RTX 2060 with 20% on eBay where near $468. But after that 20% discount where the rtx 2060 where near 500 now they are near 550 plus.

For some reason the RTX2060 were increased in price by about $100 by sellers on eBay. So not sure if cause the new stock cost more or they are increased price to make money?!

I think to make money, to be honest, especially with the RTX2060 Supers coming.

    The GTX 1660 Super's technically are a GTX1660 with faster DDR6 ram vs DDR5.

As an RTX 1660 has DDR5, while the RTC 1660 Ti has the faster DDR6 ram ( same as the rtx2060 minus ray tracing and bit slower ). The 1660 super is a bit silly as it doesn't replace the ti in speed.

  • @OKjoe you have the wrong RTX 2060 please fix it dude as the Asus GeForce RTX 2060 Dual EVO that is $445.

THE RTX2060 TUF CARD IS $589.0 Dude did you get it wrong by accident or what ?

    Wrong title Wrong price
