With 3000 series leaked, why would you buy unless at a heavy discount

I hear the 4000 series is coming after the 3000 series.

@interfreak: But you’re much better off waiting for the 6000 series, I heard the tech will be out of this world!

That’s over a year away not a few months what a useless comment all the inpatient people trying to feel better by upvoting you haha

There's always something new around the corner and the answer is always the same - upgrade if you need to, wait if you don't.

The RTX Super cards haven't even been out for 6 months - they wont suddenly become obsolete when the 3000 series comes out.

At this stage everything on the 3000 series is just a rumour anyway, and based on those you're still looking at at least 6 months before the cards are launched, with no indication of what stock, availability or pricing will be like at launch.

Everything is a rumour before release and don’t forget nvidia (apple of gpu’s) will nerf it in updates

This isn't bad for a strix flavoured 2060s. Normally they carry an additional $150 tax for the name.

  • Need help choosing this or a Galax RTX2070 Super. I have a 34 inch 1080p ultra wide monitor. Will be playing games such MW or Forza. I'd like to play games on high settings with more than 60 fps. Will the RTX2060 suffice

    • What resolution are you running your Ultra wide at? and How much can you get the Galax 2070 super for?

  • Do you think I could sell on the copy of MW? I just bought the game and this deal is great!

    • yes plenty of people do that, even in the classified on OZB :-) $50+
On ebay seems to be getting $70+

Need to have a RTX20series to activate but people offer to activate for them as well

      • Crap. Expired. Thanks for the info anyway :)
