Ripper of a deal for this great camera. I think this has been the cheapest its ever been effectively coming down to 1388 after cashback. It's a pity that the lens cashback this time around has been pretty poor or else I would jump on this in a heartbeat as someone wanting to get into photography.

    whats wrong with you georges is 1408 after 300 cashback where this is 1388 after 300 cashback. Do you even math?

      His math is based on the Amex formula mate. Spend $500 get $50 back via Amex, bringing the price down to $1358. If my math is right.

        1368 if u include the 10$ shipping that georges charges. So definitely not much more but also not everyone has amex and i beleive the offer was also targeted?

          @Toothfairy0412: You are right on all counts mate. Just saying that the much cheaper mentioned was probably based on the formula of having an Amex card and being targeted for the offer and using it to get the camera cheaper. So if an OZB member has all the mentioned variables, they can get the camera $20 cheaper.

          Otherwise your deal is as good as it get mate. Top notch.

    This is an outstanding price, if you're using it for stills you could also consider a well priced second hand X-T2. If you anticipate video work the X-T3 is a very worthwhile upgrade.

    I'm holding out for the long-awaited X-H2 to be announced. I'd be a happy camper if it can make up for all the X-H1's flaws.

    Yeah, the cashback is around for a while, I'm in the same boat wanting to pick one up but not sure about what Black Friday night bring.

    I'm leaning towards a bird in the hand being worth two in the bush at the moment.

  This is a fantastic camera and the only thing that bothers me is that it doesn’t have IBIS.

    Personally I think IBIS is the most irrelevant and unnecessary feature ever added to a camera to be honest.

    I've shot video with the A7SII quite extensively and have found it totally unusable. I hear the GH5's implementation is pretty mind blowing but I still hardly see the need - if you want a creepy floating effect for your footage just buy a gimbal…
