Greetings everyone, Amazon are offering 3 months of their Kindle Unlimited service for free currently for new users.

This should also work for users who have subscriptions that have lapsed for more than 6 months I believe.

Enjoy the freedom to explore over 1 million titles and thousands of audiobooks on any device.

  1. All existing Kindle Unlimited subscribers with free trials or paid memberships are not eligible for this promotion.

  2. After the end of the promotional period, you authorize us to charge your credit card on file $13.99/month until you cancel.

  • Only got 1 month here.
    Still better than nothing.

    • Create another account & you'll get another month free.

  • In a nutshell, what does Kindle Unlimited offer?

Never mind, I read the biz.
Curated list of books and audible books for unlimited books and audio.

    • +1

Barely anything worthwhile in their entire "curated" catalogue. Local library probably has a better selection of free ebooks; mine does.

  • I got 3 months as well.
Heavy amazon prime user for ~1 year with plenty of purchases.

  • Only 1 month free trial here as well

  • Got 3 months, cheers.

  • Thanks OP :) Got 3 months.

Really poor selection of books for free

Thanks OP. Got free for three months. Plus cancelled it already incase I forget to cancel the membership in future.

The best use I got out of a previous Kindle Unlimited trial was Lonely Planet books in Europe. My wife was sent to the Netherlands for work and I went too. On the weekends we went to Belgium, France, Germany, Italy and the UK, and I had the complete library of Lonely Planet books for them all on my phone for free. It helped when finding places to see, stay, eat, with navigation and with understanding how things worked locally. It's not as easy to use as having a paper guidebook, but it is searchable. I think the full set is still on Kindle Unlimited.

Is there a way to search what is available via kindle unlimited before you sign up?

  • Edit. Fixed. Only getting the 30 day free trial offer.

  • I got the 3 months - anything worth reading?

    • The selection is really really bad. Mostly it's just self-published books.

      • I'd have to agree. You won't find anything from authors you know.

If you’re a fan of Lee Child or action thriller, read this guy’s books!
I’ve read almost all of them already

I didn't get anything and I'm not an unlimited member. $13.99 monthly. Strange.

  • I guess if one uses Kindle US, as I do, it's only the standard 1 month.

  • I got one month only. Read the Atomic habits (summary version). Was worth it. There are some reasonable reads but nothing special. It's good for one month though. Just cancel immediately and enjoy one month.

This would be useful for Audible users. You can "claim" the ebook version first and get the Audible one for a cheaper price.
