What does customer only mean? Does it mean only customer can use them or only they can buy but can be used by friends/family?

    • Same as membership required. You have to be a youi customer in order to purchase it.

  • Is this targeted to certain Youi customers as the usual 5% off is still showing for JB HiFi gift cards in my Youi app and not the 10%?

    • Showing the $100 and $200 gift cards at 10% off in the app for me.

  • @merajaan Have you logged on? It seems to show 5% on the website without logging in.

    • Logging out of the app and then logging back in did the trickz thanks

Yep, I was victim to their dodgy quotes. When I asked why they needed my banking details to do a quote, they replied it was just the way they did them and assured me no money will be debited unless I agreed to go ahead. 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Can I buy 8 of the $200 gift cards and use it all in one transaction?

It’s be a pretty good deal for a new iPhone 11pro.

    • That’s what’s I did with the same offer on gift vouchers for good guys last week and scored 10% off a new iPhone 11 Pro, cheapest price around 😀

      • So we are allowed to use more than 1 e-gift card?
Im guessing if it works at TGG then it should work at JB.

        Cheers
        iPhone 11pro for $1574 😆

      • did They question you about the numerous vouchers?
Or was it a smooth process

        • you mean good guys? no question at all, they just scan each barcode and it's all good! no questions asked at all
also, all i asked is if there's any specials on iphones and she said no, but can do the iphone 11 pro at $1714 for me as the lowest price….so ended up costing me about $1544

    • There's no limit I believe. If you use a certain amount they'll just ask for ID. But be a good person and either print them out or have a large enough phone for the cashier to be able to scan it. Don't let them manually type in the barcode numbers!!

Source: I did this once and felt terrible when the cashier spent 10 minutes typing in my gift cards.

  • id rather save the money on proper insurance then a gimmick 10% off GC

  • Youi is a unscrupulous insurance company to deal with.

Wow… I just bought $2000 worth just a few days ago at the 5% off… ouch.

Also, I've only had good experiences with Youi. It's hard to believe what was said in the articles. Every customer rep I've spoken to have been nothing but polite and courteous. If for any reason my monthly payment bounced, they send me a text message saying it will be redebited in a week.

    • Agreed, I've been with Your for more than five years and have had nothing but great experiences when it comes to their customer service.

      • The problem is their operating model, requiring some customers to offer banking details for a quote, using pressure sales tactics to try and get a commitment.

There is 0 reason they should require a phone call to generate a quote when almost all other insurers will do online quotes in a couple of minutes. It is purely so they can sweet talk people into signing up under pressure. No thanks.

        • It is purely so they can sweet talk people into signing up under pressure.

You can say that about any sales job though. I enjoy the car I bought but hated the tactics the dealership used to get me to buy it.

          • @NeggerOfDeals: Not really the same situation. Sure, they both use those tactics, but Youi is the odd one out in the insurance market, in which its competitors do not require you to call them and be subjected to this routine

  • Cheapest way to get this as a non-Youi customer?

  • Is there a limit to how many gift cards can be used in one transaction?
