It'll handle it plenty fine. Can't compare to Intel sorry as I've been out of their ecosystem for a long time.
Nearly any modern processor will handle these tasks adequately at worst, assuming you're not abusing Excel/Access!
Having an SSD and clearing out all of the pre installed junk on a laptop is a lot more important.

I bought an HP during the last offer ($300 off $699), condition 'Good'. There was a slight mis-shaping of the case around one of the USB ports which I managed to straighten out, otherwise fine. No other visible defects. Haven't timed battery depletion; nothing to disappoint me. Would consider buying again.

Purchased a Lenovo Yoga 12 months ago for my daughter for school and it's been a great laptop. It was classed as 'great' condition so I was expecting it to have a fair bit of wear and tear. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived as it was packed really well and only had 2 very minor scratches on the top of the casing. Inside the keyboard and the screen were perfect. Also purchased an iphone 7 in 'excellent' condition and could have just as well been brand new - not so much as a fingerprint on it - had no problem with it at all and battery life was excellent. Just about to place my third order for another laptop for the hubby to stop him whinging that the kids get everything!
I bought an "excellent plus" surface book. It was like brand new except no original packaging.
Have bought two macbook airs and a macbook pro from them. All in very good condition and no problems. Daughter's macbook air has been her everyday school laptop for nearly 2 years now and still going strong.
Prices were excellent and delivery very quick.
There's ratings for the devices in terms of cosmetics: excellent, great, good etc. hard to tell what that really means.

I bought two macbook airs as 'excellent' condition and they lived up to this description. When I later bought a macbook pro for my wife they didn't have any in stock under excellent so I went with 'good' thinking it might be a bit scruffy. As it turned out it was in pretty much perfect condition and just as good as the excellent rated ones I'd bought before.
Good deal but no idea whats good to get…looking for something powerful ish but long battery life around 12-14 inches…. any idea?
