    Gives 1 credit per month
Did it used to be 2 credits?

Not in Australia. Last time I used it, you got one credit every month, and the first month was free.

      @op - isn't 50% off $16.45 $8.225?
      $7.45 is better than 50%

      • Just copying what the page says. You're right by the way.

        Updated the title. Thanks mate.

Why is the link picture a moisturiser?

add a box of tissues and a good mills and boon (or maybe fifty shades these days) and it’s a good night in!

After 6 months, cancel and it will offer 3 months at a discounted rate.

  • Will have to pass as I still haven't listened to all of the books I bought during my two trials.

Will have to pass on this TV as I still haven't watched the TV I bought in the last deal.

Rebel Wilson.. sif they couldn't find a better celeb to sling audio books.

    • seems to have her finger in many pies

Disappointed that we don’t get a decent range in Australia. If we could access the US library it would be worth it. But I found out the hard way. Cancelled after a couple of months

I was about to pull the trigger but found the .au site didn't have the audiobooks I wanted - they are on the US site though so that sux

Just start a new account Audible US with a fake address. Aus cards work fine with it (may be best to wait for Black Friday though).

    • It really is limited isnt it. Hate how everything is subject to distribution rights and licensing agreements even more so now in this digital age.

  • Cancelled yesterday and it did not offer the 3 month half price. Note I was already on that plan as well. Boo.

They'll send an email with the offer in 2 months time or so.

  • +1

They also try to get you back several months later with eg, $1 for a book plus $8 or so per for three months.

VPN plus Audible India is cheaper, no idea if it works and the selection of books though.

    • Much cheaper?

      • +1

4 AUD per month but selection is very limited.

  • Is the deal with Audible that you're basically locked into buying an audio book every month? Does it give any other benefits?

    • No locked in contract, a selection of free books, cheaper prices if you wanted more than 1 per month.

  • I'm on the $8 per month for 3 months after trying to cancel thing. This is a good deal though

  • Remember, return all the books you finish for even more books. One of these deals netted me like 15+ books.

    • That's just a bit scummy and preying on the goodwill of a business. If everybody started doing this, there wouldn't be such a reasonable returns scheme for people who used it genuinely.

        Yeah….. (profanity) Amazon.

  • Purchased, thank you !

  • I used to commute between Sydney and Canberra and found audio books great on the drive. Helped keep me awake.

Michael Connelly and John Grisham are my favourites. There are some brilliant narrators and some who destroy a book. Patrick Steed (Avengers) ruined one for me. He emphasised every 5th word whether it was meant to be that way or not. I couldn’t finish the book.

I purchase Audible credit voucher codes from Taobao to top up my Audible US account.

    5 AUD per credit.
