      From what I have read NFC cant be used in Australia anyway, only in China.
      The only difference is the printing instructions and default language is Chinese and default language can be changed to English when connect to phone.

      Why pay extra for the global version?

    Yes. That’s true. I got CN version last month from aliexpress. When i paired for the first time it was in Chinese then through app it can be easily changed to English for the band.

  yes confirmed CN version language can be changed to english when connected to phone, you might need google translate for initial setup. Btw any reviews on heart rate meter in mi band 4? I have been using mi band 3 heart meter isnt accurate.

    No, there are 2 chinese version, one is with NFC and other one is without NFC

    and that one which is one sale is without NFC

    Xiaomi is working on Mi band 5 and it will be more advance and NFC will work outside China as well as there might be option of bus or metro pass to save and use via mi band 5. Xiaomi is working with Huami to make it possible outside the china.
