    Just went through and added sub on my PlayStation and the price was $44.96. Purchased and went through fine.

    Recommend everyone else check if it appears to be the same as looks like 25% has been applied to the already reduced price which is clearly an error.

          Good luck. I imagine Sony will fix up this glitch relatively soon and it going back to the advertised $59.95, so I’d suggest jumping on it while you can.

      Just noticed the confirmation page says I'll be charged $44.96 per year upon renewal. While I doubt I've locked in this price in perpetuity, it's nice to dream :)

    Just tested, you can buy multiple years one at a time and it adds to the next subscription renewal date.

    My subscription doesn't expire until 2023 :)

    guys, my next renewal date is 16/11/2020. does it mean my membership actually had already expired before i renewed it just 2 mins ago? However, I did play Nioh like 2 days ago.

      Go into subscription management and your new expiry date will be shown.
      Also, where you cancel the auto-renewal of $79.95 ;)

      Playstation purchase email will also show the date when your subscription ends.
      I also got the weird 16/11/2020 date and had to investigate further.

      you have cc linked to your paypal? check the statements on that? my transactions showed up in bank transactions in minutes

        Definitely do. Just did another transaction with Debit card instead of PayPal & it showed up in bank statement straight away. Strange PayPal didnt take money out of my account.

      Set your PS4 as the primary one for the US PSN+ account, and use PS4 regularly on the AU one. You'll have both.

    Got renewed for another year. This is happening because Sony has a double discount going on for ps plus members.

    When you apply first round of discount 75% of 79.95 comes to 59.96.
    Another round of discount 75% of 59.96 for existing ps plus members brings the price further down to 44.96.

    Just an FYI to people who think it's an error on Sony's part! Looks intentional discount :)

                A) wait a while, or
                B) add PayPal as another form of payment

                I don't know the correlation for B because all the other items worked besides the 12mth membership. Bought 2yrs worth though at ~$95, what a bargain this was
