Alot of laptops are sitting at $599, so be sure to get the $1 portable harddrive and you'll effectively save another $50 as your discount jumps to $100 for items >$600.

  • Good deal, I got my E420 not long ago. Love it.
It seems you can no longer get the fingerprint option like i did for mine. Odd

  • Really nice, you can get a reasonably specced up e320 for only ~$500, don't think you can beat this in terms of quality and specs at the moment.

    • The Enhanced E320 is much better value than the vanilla E320, considering that you get Core i5 upgrade, and 2gb of RAM extra for less than $100.

  • Nice, my little brother has been hunting for a laptop for a while. These deals are awesome; picked up the E420 with Bluetooth, case and 320GB External drive for $623 delivered.

    Amazing value, given its CPU/GPU.

    Thanks mate!

  • yey the weekly deals :D

better than the usual 10% off they do

  • oh just one thing regarding the EDGEs, they lack LED indicators for HDD, Caps, Num, scroll lock etc. The only thing i can see on mine is the 3 Power LEDs. Other than that i've had no issues. So i guess they are a top buy.

    • yeah I have the Edge 13 and just one blinking red dot. Mildly annoying.
Also the FN key is where the CTRL key should be. But you'll get used to it.

  • Sweet. Does it work with the new 11.6" X121e?

    • It does, but the discount is only $50 off since the X121E is priced just under $600. If you spec over $600 you will be eligible for the $100 discount.

      • Yeah an obvious upgrade would be going for 320GB 7200RPM HDD for $20, so ThinkPad X121e with ULV i3 would be $519 delivered.

Now need to convince myself that I don't need another ThinkPad…

  • For some reason the $1 hdd doesnt show up on the mid spec e420. That's the one I want dammit! :)

  • no option for dedicated graphics card on cheaper models.

  • I need a good deal on the Thinkpad W series around 1600 dollars after discount. T series does not has USB 3, else I would have gone for that too. Missing the 30% discount over 2200.
(can go for x series too, but Need atleast 15")

  • How quick is the delivery, usually?

The site says 2-3 weeks plus 5 days for delivery (28 days max) which is a pretty long time..

  • nice ecoupon and can claim 3.5% via moneybackco.

but I am confused with the standard warranty return to depot bs the $33 upgrade to onsite. anyone can clarify?

also any idea what's the thickness of E320?

    • I dont know of this, but I saw a Edge series Laptop and I was not pleased with it. except for keyboard, they look quite thick ( I have used T series earlier)
