    just tried to look at the air new zealand website and their price starts from $950. How can it be so much difference? I usually see around 10% difference between the cheapest 3rd party site vs airline. Could it be more like $645 USD?

      3rd party/OTA sites are generally cheaper for full service airlines. The reason Student Universe is cheaper is because they are offering an extra $200 off fares to the US as a promotion.

      Up to $300 off Air New Zealand flights from Australia to South America and up to $200 off Air New Zealand flights from Australia to North America. Discount not valid if cheapest carrier itineraries. Discount not valid on hotels, insurance or previously booked flights. Discount is limited to a one-time use only per person.     Anyone used them before? I was looking at a different flight earlier this morning and the Terms stated you needed to verify you were either a faculty member or youth aged 16-25. Didn't book because I don't qualify in either of those categories

      you can untick student in the search results, and still get prices as an 'adult', and at present it doesn't seem to change the price. Same with the earlier deal.

    Wow, they changed discount drastically mid promo. Was until end of year as of last night. Still is. They get to hide behind limited redemption clause. Poor form but typical of flight Centre.
