Price is good but I would never recommend Swann to anyone tbh

Can you give more details of why is that? I have been planning for CCTV for my new house. So that would help.
      Thanks

      • Swann uses outdated tech and software with arlo/hikvision price. Their software is really bad. My neighbour used to have one of those proper system and recently I had an incident that need review, upon comparison with my cheapo xiaomi xiaofang one he said mine is heaps better (but still not good enough to get number plate from the vehicle involved

I saw reviews and quality. It looked much better than the older models but would also like to know your experience.

  • Wonder how this would compare to the Reolink 8 camera pack that is on sale as well:
    https://reolink.com/product/rlk16-410b8/

    4MP is US$ 440.99 (Aprox AU$ 658)
    5MP is US$ 566.99 (Aprox AU$ 846)

Units ship from Australia (NSW) but pricing is better but I've not used these kits before but some a few of their basic indoor units which work well besides motion detection which I think is not great on any of these units if the light changes a bit or plans move..etc..

The unit also comes with 3TB HDD it seems…

Interested in comments form anyone that might have tried out both of these units before..

P.S. If you don't need 8 camera's they also offer a 4K camera kit coming soon as follows: https://reolink.com/product/rlk8-800b4/
