I got mine for $389 2 years ago. Also on black Friday sales. I did use the amex $100 cash back offer so it went down to $289.

If you waited 6 years to get a PS4, wait another one and get yourself a PS5.
I have a launch PS4 and hate the jet engine each time I play.
I play every day so buying a Pro now that they're this cheap is easily justified for me and will see me through another few years before I'll be willing to jump into the PS5 after a year or so and after a few first party titles are released that I'll want to play.
PS5 will support backwards compatibility

Useful Notes regarding Target's Black Friday sale on various PS4 consoles.
-To begin, strangely, all PS4 consoles have been delisted from the Target Australia Website.
-It might be a wise idea if you are in the market for a PS4 console this Black Friday weekend to opt to purchase it from Target - on Thursday that is, as Target has its sales early, beginning from today.
This way you can avoid the hassle caused by high traffic volumes and congestion almost certainly to be experienced on the weekend.-The 1TB Slim is by a significant margin, the worst value here. Priced at $329, it is a $90 premium over the 500GB Slim, and a mere $40 less than the 1TB Pro console.
-While Target's PS4 Pro matches Big W's price, it does NOT come with the Fortnite content.
-Having said that, I recently visited my local Target whom had stock of a 500GB Fortnite Slim Console. It was priced identically to the plain version at $239.

Just popped into Target and picked up the PS4 Pro for $369. Dual Shock 4 for $48 also.
