From the POV of a person building a PC, seems like last week Friday's deals were much better than the actual black Friday. Ram and graphics cards were priced much lower than they are for tomorrow.

Maybe the stores know the non-bargain hunters will only look around on Thursday/Friday of Black Friday, so the prices are jacked up a bit?

      • That’s a solid theory. It has to be remembered that these big sales that occur on Black Friday aren’t some sort of charity or handout. This is a calculated business exercise.

  • Going to ask a silly question… I just moved to NBN on HFC and my contract with existing RSP is about to expire. My plan is to return the crappy RSP modem/router and buy a proper one so I can move around different providers. Main use is video streaming, working from home and light gaming on PS4.

Any recommendations from their wireless modem/router range? https://www.centrecom.com.au/modems-routers?orderby=10&specs…

    Thanks!

    • nbn provide the Arris cable modem. What you need is a router. You don't need a modem/router all in one.

How big is the area your trying to cover?

What's the maximum you want to spend?
