    Desciption on Amazon says this about battery life: For example, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild can be played for roughly 5.5 hours on a single charge.

    So that means this is the new model.

        I did it and it worked.

        It does factor in the Shopback (because they refund you the difference and then beat by 5%), but not Zips 10%. I wouldn't have done Zip anyway tbh.

      I was just asking the same. I've read the T&Cs and I can't see why not so am going to submit a claim soon.

      The gift card for difference + 5% would be pretty much equal to this deal, just missing the Zip which I probably would never have done anyway.

      The new Nintendo Switch has a model number that starts with HAD:

      HADSKABAA for the model with the blue and red Joy-Con controllers
      HADSKAAAA for the model with grey Joy-Con controllers

      The new Switch should have a serial number - located on the bottom of the console - that starts with the letters XKW.

        @Cheapotle, just initiate a chat with them. I did it through the app by going to help, contact us, chat.

        Then just give them the ebay item ID (from your confirmation email), the Amazon link, and list the two prices.

        I just did it on the bus this morning. Took about 8 minutes.

    For anyone wondering I bought from JBHiFi last night for $389 saw this deal when I woke up, went into JB and they were happy to refund me the $40 difference. Couldn't get the MK8 code last night as the offer didn't go live yet. Added bonus was with the refund the MK8 code printed :)

    Well the picture clearly shows the new switch packaging so it would be terribly bad PR if they swapped the innards in the box to the older model. If it’s in the older packaging can alwatys return unopened.

        It is definitely being advertised as the new model, by the product description and also on the original listing for the 2019 model "Nintendo Switch (Neon Blue/Red) [new look packaging]" there is a link saying "There is a newer version of this item:" which links to this deal so I don't see how this could be the old model because it is advertised as the new model in every way. We will only truly know once it arrives and we can check the serial number.

    I'll be contacting Amazon about it. I had it in my cart at 349 but zip was not verifying my number for whatever reason. Their customer support is usually very good so we'll see if they will honor the price.
