    Amazon confirmed that it’s the XAW. I just can’t help thinking that they have no clue about this. Anyways cancelled my Amazon order and stuck with my Jb deal for $374. Missed the price match for $349 by half an hour.

    Can’t gamble with the Amazon offer. Plus I had JB gift card to use as well.

      Same here, thought to buy it during eofy next year (when i'll be flying overseas to claim gst) but then gst is only 9% and zip is 10% lol
      If it is really an old model i would simply return it. Im a Prime member and have good experience with returning/refund so far with them

      They are only saying 2019 because that’s what the advert says. Released 28 November 2019. Ask them for the model and serial. I got mixed responses.

    Thanks OzBargain. Will have two happy girls come Christmas time. Ordered last night from JB, woke up this morning saw that Amazon had their price. Went to JB at 7 and asked about refund of difference. They were super nice about it and processed immediately then asked if I wanted to buy any games from them. Figured it was the least I could do.
    Have it now, at Amazon price, but supporting JB for the sale.

    Walked in to a JB Hifi (Vic Store) half hour ago and they price matched @ $349 after supposedly going back to the area manager as the store manager wouldn’t accept the deal. They weren’t going to initially and tried to offer me while I was waiting for an answer from the regional manager extended warranty for $52 - gives you 2 years but can’t justify when you’re spending little money on it compared to a TV. All I can say is HOLD OUT Everyone for a good deal @ JB Hifi.

    ZIP PAYMENT LINKING FIX
    If any of you had the failed link account problem like I had this morning. It's not a time delay but something in their system even if you have verified email & can log in fine.

    Google 'Zip account selector' then sign-in to the zip.co link.
    Your account will likely already say preferred but click it anyway. It will then take you to your Zip account page.
    Then in the same tab/browser visit amazon.com.au.
    Sign into Amazon & try link Zip again.
    After trying verify 8 times over the space of a few hours this is what fixed it for me.

      I had linked by Zip account with amazon earlier and went through with the order using Zip as the payment method and it all seemed fine. However i just signed into Zip and it doesnt appear to have appeared as a purchase in my zip account. Is that what you're referring to?

    Thanks for the heads up people. Got one today as the Mario cart bundle and with another game also (carnival).
    Did it all via ShopBack and paid with zip so hopefully all the 15% comes back.
    Didnt get it for $349 but happy with the $359 deal regardless.

    Mine got delivered today. My packaging box says it is Console Version HAC-001, but my serial number starts with XKW and the product number indeed starts with HAD. I am now confused. Apparently even though the packet says Console Version HAC-001, inside the console is version HAC-001(-01) . Can some one please confirm that the package says HAC-001 but the actual console inside actually says HAC-001(-01) inside if the serial number starts with XKW ? TIA

    Am I the only one who got my cashback rejected?

    It didn't get tracked automatically, so I had to submit a cashback claim - which was rejected by Shopback. No specific reason why - just the three generic reasons why it might not be approved.

    Would be quite dissapointed with Shopback as this almost feels like false advertising
