I’m looking to buy iPhone 11. After discount it’s 178K points for it and no out of pocket cost. Is it worth it?
You can sell qff points for roughly 1.1c/point. So is that worth it for you?
Guess it depends how much you value your points, it's pretty much the worst way to redeem points, points are generally worth at least 1c pp on the classifieds however you do have the risk of your account being suspended if they happen to find out. This deal puts the value of points at about .7c pp.
Does selling points on classifieds beach terms and potentially get you banned?
Yes there is that risk and it has happened to people. Not much of an issue if you sold the last 100k points in your account but I wouldn't want to have 600k points and only want to sell 200k points as there is a risk of losing the remainder points.
No deal. Gonna keep the points. Planning to travel next year around wedding anniversary so will use points for business class.
On other hand my phone plan finishing in a week so will avail JB offer of $500 gift card to get iPhone 11.
It's only 20% off the points used for the sale. If you're using points + pay, then you might want to check how good the "bargain" is.
