Looks like cashrewards has upped cachback temporarily for Apple store to 3% which is better than nothing given how stingy Apple are for discounts on new products.

3000 QFF points is roughly $30 if selling @ 1c/point
I'd rather have the cashback personally as its easier to get into your bank account. Selling QFF points is very doable but more of a hassle.

3% does not have any significant impact on the otherwise stinge bags that are Apple. Not an Apple hater because their phones and computers are pretty damn solid, but their prices are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy too high.
