These work under flourescent light. I haven't used one recently under led light to test yet
these are fantastic. I have used one for several years now. they get plenty of power from most fluorescent tube lit offices and feel good to type on.
the coin battery died in mine after about 2 years of daily use at work and then 6 months in a box not used and while its not technically user-replaceable, you absolutely can replace it should you need to (just make sure to buy the correct battery size/number, as its a rechargeable coin cell, which you cant buy where you normally buy coin cells).
battery two is going strong, 3 years of daily use at work.

for the battery? I think it was $5 delivered off ebay. its an ML2032 (which is the same size as a CR2032, but rechargeable)

Agree! Typing on one at work now had this for 3+yrs 8+hrs a day usage all day long.
If you like soft keys like laptop recommend this.
Easy to clean as well!
I can attest that these are really good, and that's a pretty great price.
I bought a 2nd hand one about 6-8 months ago for around that price (can't remember).
The travel of the keys is low, similar to a Lenovo Thinkpad, and more than those new Macbook Pros.
The charging is pretty good, holds charge well. I did find that after gaming at night in ambient or low light for a while, the battery dropped. It needs to be kept in a place where it'll see some good sunlight (doesn't need to be direct) during the day, or pretty bright lighting at night for the battery to keep topped up.Uses a unifying receiver I think.
minimum $10 delivery sucks for everyone that's not near the stores.
