While I haven't tried other cases to compare quality (seem to be a lot of knock offs and similar styles out there) I love my grip case, and can't use my switch in handheld without it now.

    • Same, this was the solution to my cramping hands. I got a Skull & Co Jumpgate dock too so I can leave the case on when I plug it into the TV- handy bit of kit.

    • Agreed, got my Skull & co the other month also.
The default lack of.. anything to hold onto on the stock Switch was so uncomfortable and annoying. Love these things. I went all out with the Dpad and Famicom coloured button replacements also, and now have a pimped out system :D

  • I actually backed this on Kickstarter. I'm pretty happy with it. It makes playing handheld so much better.

  • It's just for the Neon ones?

Yeah, just the Neon grips for now. Whether that'll change in a few hours I'm not sure.

  • Nvm was in USD.

  • How do these compare to other cases on the market? (new to the switch) scene.

    • It's one of the most popular Switch grips. The Satisfye grip is also really popular, but you'll need to import it if you want it. Those two are generally considered the best. This is a pretty good price for the Skull & Co, especially for local stock.

      • Does the gripcase dock well with a screen protector?

        • Some people have reported issues with docking. Seems like Nintendo's docks have a varying degree of width. Keep in mind, if you do dock it'll cover both USB ports.

    • The grips definitely add comfort compared to holding the switch as standard.
The carry case is also really good quality.

As an added bonus, Skull & Co is an Aus based company.

  • I've got these and love them. Makes the switch feel like a different system.

But, it's really hard for me to press volume down through the case. I have to really push it. I also have a thread which is loose in the stitching near the zip on the carry case. So when I run the zip past it, it gets hooked on the thread if I go too fast.

I had trouble in the beginning getting it into the dock. But it gets better over time. Seems to slide in better.

These faults are still minor compared to the comfort of the grips and space for my accessories in the case.

    • It was originally labelled as compatible with the dock but they stopped saying that after a small % of people started having issues with it.

  • Am I missing something? This bundle appears to be available on their site for $39.99 with free delivery
    https://skullnco.com/collections/switch-gripcase/products/gr…

EDIT: I'm gonna assume this is US prices, so that's what I've missed. I thought someone said in the thread they were Australian?

    • I think some of the team are australian based but the site uses USD (I actually contacted them and asked myself when I made my order a while back.. I agree it's not clear) and their warehouses must be china based or something because mine took a good 3 weeks to arrive =(

No Idea where this Amazon stock is located however.
