I went to get one for my son's birthday, I was going to price match with Amazon for $338.40 but it was even cheaper.

I've got both models (Bose QC 35 II & Sennheiser PXC 550) and I find for all day wear (4-7 hours @ work) the QC 35 II feels better on my ears by the end of the day. My ear size may be different to yours and I think I have a normal ear size. :-)

No joy for Price Match at JB hi-fi. But the Amazon price is able to Price Match

thanks for this OP. was able to pricematch with JB Hifi, although they had to call the manager first. so happy with this purchase.
For the $80 difference, I think the sennheiser is a much better buy.
