Xiaomi Mijia Pan Tilt Camera H265 [Chinese Baby Monitor Version] US $21.69 (~AU $34.50 Delivered) @ Joybuy

90
BF19PAYPAL5

Similar to previous deal from Banggood but need to pay by Paypal. Note: Coupon code is generic and applies to any purchases over US $20 but limited to first 10000 customers (check before paying).
Delivered price includes GST and it is the cheapest so far. The catch is this Joybuy product is the Chinese version model. I bought this recently from the 11-11 sale and the supplied item firmware version works but updating the firmware will cause it to be region locked to the Chinese mainland. You will then see a message "Sorry this device is not supported in this area". So if you accidentally updated the firmware, you will need to downgrade it to a previous working version.

This is part of Black Friday / Cyber Monday deals for 2019

Good Price, but I won't buy the chinese version as it will be most likely geoblocked.

YES! Wait for the Global version

      • Any1 think / try to ASK XiaoMi…?

PS How do XM's gear compare to Keyui, eg: M525…?

(an [official] store ship up to 2 Free, via eParcel
        Mine: ~Au$ 36… Now. ~$37… may be rising…?)

    • I agree. But there are other Xiaomi and co-branded camera products that have "Chinese versions" like the Xiaomi DaFang with the same geo-blocked issues if the firmware is upgraded. This model is better and currently, price-wise comparable.

    • Which one should I buy and where, then? I had no idea there were such issues!
Not interested if it's the same exact model, even something similar but from the Xiaomi ecosystem.
      Cheers

Try the Banggood URL in the description. That's the global(English) version and works with the Mi Home app.

  • this camera has no memory card slot not worth the money

    • It supports microsd up to 64GB in size. The slot is hidden below the camera lens.

  • Very surprised that China would want to block live feed cameras that westerners place in their home !?

    • they have with the xiaofang.
