  Decent deal, but these headphones are not great. They're based on the same chassis/structure as the HD461 and HD471. The 471s are great studio monitoring headphones, but I'd put these between the 461 and the 471. However, unlike the 400 series, these lack a detachable cable, and I think the design looks a bit worse.

  Creative Aurvana Live absolutely creams both this and the 461 for the same price.

    Thanks for the info. I'm still rocking the HD 280 monitor headphones, and besides the ridiculously long cable they have been great.
