Colorful RTX 2070 Super / 2080 Super $699 / $985 + Free 256GB SSD Pickup or + Delivery @ Evatech [+2080TI KUDAN'S IN STOCK]

660

A new GPU on the Christmas shopping list but missed out on the flood of black Friday / cyber Monday deals?

GPU + SSD Bundles

Snag a Colorful RTX 2070 Super or RTX 2080 Super on sale and not only save a few bucks but snag a free bonus 256GB SATA3 SSD.

Not the fastest SSD in the world but great for a secondary drive to squeeze in a couple of games when your primary NVMe SSD starts getting full or to spruce up an older rig still running a regular hard drive.

No code necessary, prices as marked, just pop through an order for either of the cards above and we'll throw in the SSD.

Shipping prices vary depending on post code but start from $11.10 for courier satchel to most major metro areas.

(while stocks last / first 50 customers)

The last 2080 TI KUDAN's IN STOCK NOW

For those 1%'rs out there who want a totally over the top ridiculous piece of art as the centerpiece of their next build, the limited edition 2080 TI KUDAN is almost all gone and the lucky last few units are priced to clear. Originally launching at $3,000USD (roughly $5,000 AU pesos after GST at today's rate) the 1000 piece limited run is down to single digits left in stock. From now until Christmas eve (or while stocks last) you can pick one up for $2,999 AUD (~$1,859USD before tax). What we're told by Colorful is this is by far the lowest price world wide these have ever sold for.

Yes, cheaper 2080TI's are better 'bang-for-buck' but the price tag covers the engineering and limited quantity production, massive hybrid cooling system plus radiator, the full color built in full color 60hz LCD screen and the cherry picked top 1% of the 1% 2080TI GPUs to reach the massive out of the box factory OC. (and a bloody carry on sized suitcase)

BONUS Modern Warfare Codes (maybe?)

We have a bunch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare game bundle codes left over. Strictly speaking the promotion period has ended, we hear tell that the codes are still redeemable up until the 19th of December. We'll be throwing the codes in with the above GPUs as a free bonus on a first in / best dressed basis (about 30 left) but please don't take this as a guarantee they will work. If you can score a free copy of the game out of them, great! If not, well at least we tried, please don't base your purchasing decision on this alone.

Note that the card has to be physically installed in the PC to redeem the code via Geforce Experience so we can't simply email you the code to redeem ahead of time.

I got a Colorful 2070 Super from Evatech a few months ago and was a bit nervous at the time (Colorful? alright…), but it's been nothing but fantastic for me. I've experienced no problems at all with it. It's a great way to save some money. Highly recommended.

It's going to be a lottery with that Colorful SL500 SSD. They released 3 variants of it and only 1 of them doesn't have any DRAM ;)

    • Makes for a great Christmas present for your in-laws.

      • I really don't know about this one but the older models like the SL300/400 were using flash memory recycled from phones! That makes it an excellent present for the in-laws.

  • Could you please enlighten me on the ordering and payment process for the 2070 super?

    • All online! Add to cart, register an account so we can capture some contact details and your shipping address, then select your favourite payment method and you're done. Contact [email protected] if you have any further questions or issues.

  • Is this a better deal than this one for the 2070S? https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/498642

Looks like that one came with a 1GB SSD redemption offer too

    • For the $20+ savings, the Gigabyte would have been a more compelling choice. Especially with the 1TB SSD if that ended up being claimable. If you aren't into the SSD you could sell it and recoup more savings. Shame it's out of stock/coupon deal expired though.

  • Any idea on rough delivery times to WA as it didn't seem to provide an estimate while checking out.

    Cheers big ears

Once picked up Couriers Please has 5 business days to your postcode, AusPost has 4-5 business days. We see you've selected AusPost, so I'll highlight to warehouse team to put it through AusPost for us, just for the potentially 1 day sooner aspect.

      • Legend, cheers!

  • how long is the discount going for? i'm waiting for next pay, hopefully stays on till Wednesday

    • While stocks last! But we have a pretty decent quantity so your odds are pretty good.

  • Any chance of stocking other variants of the 2070 Super? Also would the 2070 Super (the one on offer or other variants) fit a Thermaltake Core v1 case?

    • +1

Im not sure about the other variants. Maybe if there was demand for it, but at the moment the Colorful brand name still has a little way to go before it's considered 'mainstream' with the other better known brands in Australia. Until then their main advantage is the price on their more cost effective models.

Hopefully the premium models will follow a little later down the track.

As for the Thermaltake Core 1, unfortunately it looks as though the max GPU length is only 255mm and these Colorful 2070 and 2080's are 310mm.

      • Any recommendations of SFF casings that may fit this gpu ?

        • Most will advertise their max VGA length but something to consider also is that these have quiet fat heat-sinks on them and they protrude above 2 the PCI-E lane height (close to 2.5)

The larger mITX chassis like the H210 from NZXT and 280x from Corsair fits them but with the smaller ones like the Core v1 and the Fractal Design Nano S for instance, they wont.

          • +1

@evatech: Thanks for the recommendation. The H210i looks great in terms of clearance:

            CPU Cooler: 165 mm
            GPU: 325 mm
            PSU: 311 mm

Will keep this thread on the look out especially for the premium models.

  • Hey Rep and everyone else! Just curious about this as I don't have much knowledge about GPUs, but is there a reason why the base Colorful GPU lineup including the 2070s and 2080s doesn't get a better boost clock than the FE card? From what I've gathered and I could easily be wrong, pretty much every other third party card (be it base or flagship) gets a better boost than FE?

Prices are amazing regardless so I'm not complaining, just curious.

Clock speeds have been one of the bullet points manufacturers segment their products based on for a very long time.

Base model cards will be 'reference' clocks or very close to it. Premium and flagship cards will be clocked higher out of the box.

This doesn't mean these base model cards can't do the higher clock speeds, they just don't do it out of the box.

Higher clock speeds will give you a boost in performance, but often the premium cards factory overclock is only a 2-5% over reference with a 10-15% price premium.

  • back to normal prices now? I still notice it says "Sale" but $739 for the 2070 Super

    • This particular promotion has ended although it seems the mods haven't reported it as expired yet. I think after a certain amount of time we can no longer make edits to the post. We've just reported it as expired a few moments ago so hopefully it gets updated soon.

A few models are still on sale, marked down from their regular pricing, but not quiet as aggressively as there were originally and no longer bundled with the SSDs.
