            @easoweno: Dont think because Amex pays $40 straightaway and not like SB/CR.
            Purchasing coles myer gift card is the best way to go to avoid any issues.

    for those with the $350 Amex deal.. cashrewards at 8%, no cap is better .. it nets you an additional $28 as opposed to $20 with shopback

      you can do multiple transactions for the Amex deal. Mix it around if you're doing smaller purchases

        approx. $37 cashback if you split the purchases

        plus $35 from Amex

        equates to a ~20% saving overall

    Very tempted cashback rate right? Never fell for it. I've never received any cashback more than $11 in a single transaction, even though I spend $200+, $300 with their "10%-20%" ads. rate. All my bigger amount of transactions either being ignored or rejected by this company, I just realized recently through the last Black Friday sales. They only tracked some books orders, any single item more than $50 was missed out. And when I chase them back, they got rejected. Looking into my rewarding history, that's the trick they play.
