I spoke to someone in store on Saturday about it.
Basically, yeah they are in voluntary administration, and if there is not enough stock for something that is ordered they are not going to order in any new stock to cover the shortfall, but your refund should be secure, although it may come through PWC which is handling their administration stuff and may take some time.
Bear in mind this is just me passing on the gist of what someone behind the counter at a store was relaying to me.. so you can gauge the 'risk' of buying from them.
I think, if you don't mind that there is a chance that you will not get what you ordered and get refunded instead.. then go for it. But personally I wouldn't be buying all the kids Christmas presents on their online store and assuming you'll get everything you paid for. If you want to be certain then just go in store and pick it up IMHO
Try in store if handy. Stock at all stores near me. Avoids the risk, $7.95 delivery, & the wait.

Says it comes with a swappable band, likely the blue one. So I mean, that.

Don’t get me wrong. It’s doable i guess. One with pink and one with purple but the girl will probably see that the dark purple one changes colour to light purple from sweat and will want to have the purple one as well. Then there will be two purple ones and they will mix them up etc etc.
Also, just looking up reviews. The text feature uses the old style 0 to 9 buttons with 3 or more letter linked to each number :D
Makes sense with the limited screen size, would just be interesting seeing a kid use that style nowadays.

It’s rated +6 years so probably. Can’t see any specs on band length.
Will this be as good as Garmin Vivofit? I just need the reminders, don’t care about counting steps or waterproof. Garmin is so expensive if you need more than one.

I think it only sends notification of SMS, which is what I'm reading in the specs.
As also looking for something with basic functions but can't seem to find.
you cannot text with it but it send notifications from apps to the band. However, there is a limitation on how many apps you can setup to allow notification to be send to the band depends on generation.
I have used the Band 2, 3 and 4 and the Xiaomi Bip. Battery life is the only reason why I am using xiaomi band or the BIP watch. Cannot stand on charing them daily.
I checked with their chat if there's a risk of unfulfilled order, at this point they are "business as usual" and should get orders before Christmas.
Ordered this along with a bunch of potentially useless but heavily discounted stuffs and I am actually surprised to see them shipped out today.
Time to try n please the wife.

Catch has the item for $24 as well shold by the same company but at lease Catch is now owned by Westfarmers so maybe safer buy through Catch.
