Greetings everyone, Nintendo/Qubic are running a promotion whereby you can redeem Robonauts for free with the purchase of any Qubic game.

They currently offer a Coloring Book for free which can be used as this purchase which is awesome. So to get the free game, following the instructions below:

  1. Go to the Coloring Book page and install the free download.
  2. Go to the Robonauts page and press "Proceed to Purchase".
  3. In the checkout, the price should drop to $0.00 and you can install the full version for free.

Robonauts is now not free anymore, however is on sale for $1.49. If you have not downloaded Robonauts prior to 16/12, you will need to purchase it to be eligible for Geki Yaba Runner Anniversary Edition for free.

Qubic are also offering this for 10 titles in 10 days starting December 16 :)

Dates are Australian below, seems to maybe 12:01am to 11:59pm each day, might be AEDT:

December 16: Geki Yaba Runner Anniversary Edition
December 17: Puzzle Book
December 18: One Strike
December 19: Wreckin Ball Adventure
December 20: Koloro
December 21: #RaceDieRun

Just think of it as a chain reaction. You need to keep up and download each game for free on the day it’s available in order to make sure the next day’s game turns into a free download for you.

For example: If you want to get game (4) One Strike as a free download on December 18th, your Nintendo account library will need to have games (1) Robonauts, (2) Geki Yaba Runner and (3) Puzzle Book added to it. If you are missing ANY of those 3 previous games in your library on you won’t see One Strike as a free download on December 18th.

      Yeah, I got the same issue unfortunately. Started the chain on my Son's account as it is his switch (and linked to the eshop). But looks like the chain is broken now because One Strike is rated MA15+

      Same here, I've tried changing my sons settings to allow the download and keep the chain going, but not matter what settings I change I cannot get One Strike to download.

      Same, tried creating a second proper account and adding to the switch hoping it would recognise the other purchases on the switch to keep the chain going. No luck though, showed up as full price.

        I've figured it out guys.

        Set up parent control on the switch and change the restriction to Teens and voila! You can do this directly on the switch or you can download the Nintendo parental control app on ios/android.

          Unfortunately that didn't work for me - I already had it set to unrestricted and couldn't do it, and changing it to teen did nothing.

          Probably to do with whether it is a teen's or child's account.

            @djkelly69: Well mine was a child's account. If you had it as unrestricted then by default it will restrict content based on the child's age.

            I changed mine on Android app if that makes any difference. Good luck.

      Even colouring book, has paid dlc to have more things to colour in and more "whiteboards" - the stock is only one whiteboard/save slot!

    OK, I missed out on 1-strike and Wreckin' Ball was $7.50.

    However, purchased 1-strike for $1.50 (with coins) and I'm back on the gravy traaaain… baby. Worth it just to get to Koloro.

    Looking at the promo art on their site, I think the final Mystery Game is a free preorder for their upcoming game Barbarous:

    (profanity), I got Geki for free ages ago and bought One Strike for like 40 cents a good while back too, but missed the one in the middle and now can't get the rest of these sure to be trash clutter games that…know what, I'm not actually bummed, carry on.

    To add some details for anyone who forgot like I did…

    • I got Colouring Book and Robonauts free when the deal was first posted.
    • Then forgot everything until today.
    • Wreckin Ball Adventure was full price ($7.50)
    • Bought One Strike (fortunately discounted to $1.49).
    • Wreckin Ball Adventure was still full price.
    • Bought Puzzle Book ($1.49).
    • Wreckin Ball Adventure was still full price.
    • Bought Geki Yaba Runner ($1.50).
    • Wreckin Ball Adventure, which I had open on the purchase confirmation on another tab, instantly became free on page refresh.

    So this confirms what was speculated earlier that you need to have all the prior games to get the current game for free.

    They got $4 out of me (yay discounted gift cards!) but hopefully I won't miss a day again.

    Thanks - i went through the same process, paid for preceeding ones.. and Koloro is stil $15.00
    One hiccup i had was One Strike - wouldnt show content or allow purchase in e-shop on the childs account (maturity rating i am guessing) - so its downloaded now in primary (my parent account - but wondering if its on a different account - it IS linked all on the same switch, and does show up as "purchased" in child account e-shop.

      They also stop the last one being free at the same time. I just had to buy Koloro for $1.49 because I didn't consider timezone.

      It's 12am AEDT (i.e. Sydney/Melb), not AEST (Brisbane).
