Funny, they didn't stock this model when I bought the 75s.

    • Negged? Wtf is their problem?

They couldn't get this model a couple of months ago. I believe HN was stocking, however JB only had the 8500 85' variant.

      • Lol I got myself a stalker. Keep wasting your 5 negs on me.

  • great tv i got mine for 5750 with a $250 gift voucher 3 months back

  • Just bought from JB for $4890 after popping in to a few stores to discuss.

Seems like a crazy amount of money for a TV… hope I don't regret it.

    • Did U compare against the 82" q75?

      • Only read up reviews and technical comparisons, e.g. rtings.

I preferenced this one for 85" and Sony. I'm not certain I will notice differences in panel quality, but sure I'm going to be very happy with the 9500G

        • Reason i asked you is because i compared against each other at HN - i actually got them to put the screen side by side - took 1 hour to do but they wanted to sell hahaha

The blooming and just backlight because of the zones in sony was no where close. Watching movies with aspect ratio - the top and bottom black bars would get "blooming" effect" where as the q75 was none. And this was in the HomeTheatre section so the CFL didnt have a major factor… yes its an extra $1500 but if you are willing to drop $5000 whats an extra ~$1500 on abit better… but this is all my personal experience and im pretty picky on quality considering how much we spending… also samsung warranty especially with TV is top notch for me :)

          • @chuneeperformance: Thanks for the comparison info :)

I had been planning on just getting the Sony 8500G, waiting for it to come down to $3200 again. So plumping up so much more for the 9500G (just because I was tempted by this price) was unexpected expenditure.
