This mouse is one of the best-reviewed mice of 2019. So yeh its a great mouse. Especially for this price.

real world 'same issue here, but mine also has bent side buttons. I have already received a replacement, but it has more issues (same crunching issue but on the left click instead of right, loose Scroll wheel). I really love this Mouse but Razer seems to either have really big QC Problems or I am cursed (since this is not my first broken Razer product, before that I had 5 broken Mamba Elites and 2 Huntsman Keyboards with coil whine, one of them Waiting for its RMA to Razer.)' specimen user review…
Thats your experience. Sucks tbh. I've never been a fan of razer gear. Not surprised your mambas and huntsman have broken.
Ive read alot about the Model O having cable issues. But I have 2 of them. One for work which I use all day. Then another for home use. Both have had zero issues. So thats my experience with a mouse with 'qc' issues.
But my last 2 logitech mice had to be repaired. Go figure.
That all said. Every tech reviewer has put the Viper in their top 5 for the year. Features, shape, weight and price are good. And we've had some awesome mice this year.
So if you are having qc issues that sucks. But its still on paper a good mouse. And RMA is so good these days that getting it replaced isnt an issue.
@petry: seems a bit sus they are dumping this "godly" mouse all of a sudden. Logitech g pro wireless was also touted as a "god tier" mouse with manufacturing defects on the first few batches, price held up well a year after release.
Wanna find a reason to buy, but my aim is still aimbot tier with mastermouse s and some coffee.
Especially since this is a new shape not like the deathadder which is also nice but out for ages.
@petry: Theres like 3 videos from randoms on youtube with complaints. Basically any product is gonna have videos like that.
I'll take Rocket Jump Ninjas whose reviewed more mice than anyone else on youtube opinions over joe numbnuts.

@Justin Powell: why are they discounting such a groundbreaking mouse which they did spend some r&d developing. Super low weight, new shape for razer etc. Something smells like a design flaw which will be amended in a revised edition and clearing remaining stock?
I hope/don't think JB and pc case gear would be taking a huge hit for this.
Personal rule for me to never buy 1st editions of anything due to unforeseeable manufacturing issues, happens to any company

It's just before Christmas time and major stores are giving good one-off deals. Gets people in stores and spending money.
While the viper is really good. It's wired competitors are all in the sub $100 range.
At $140 you are breathing down the next of the Gpro Wireless which still is one of the best mice you can get. The Gpro wireless is the Viper Ultimate wireless main competitor. The Ultimate needs to get below $200 to be competitive with the gpro wireless. But if you get the ultimate under $200 then the standard viper is priced too high and wont sell. Lots of people would spend $20-50 for wireless.
So I really dont think there is any reason to think that there is anything outside of stores and brands trying to offer deals on products to sell stuff. The viper isnt going anywhere its a killer mouse.
