most likely made by a Chinese manufacturer and put the target brand on it at unrealistic rrp.i personally won't touch any of home brand electric gadgets from target,Kmart, bigw and yes..dse.

Erm, I bought a 8Gb base mp3/mp4 player with 2.5" lcd, microsd slot from target 2 years back for ~40 bucks. It still works like new, the battery life has actually gotten better (weird i know), and it lasts ~2 weeks, if I use it roughly 2 hours per day. So don't bagg em. Also, It is how you treat it. You cant expect to treat something badly and expect it to last long.

should you get this? short answer no, long answer hell no

  • meh, i agree if buying for yourself, but as a gift for a kid it's ok considering they'll typically play with it for a couple of days and then toss it into the wardrobe with all the other junk…

  • It'd have to be around $35 for me to even consider it, sorry!

  • Whats the interface like ThePensioner?
Does it allow you to create playlists from your PC and transfer them over?
Any extra non-music functions that its capable of?

Personally I wouldn't touch this for $60. Worth spending the extra ~$40 on an Optus My Tab/Cheap Tablet from China.

    Not a deal.

So you are negging based on your knowledge of a product you don't own, and the fact that you would rather spend more money on a completely different product.

      Thanks for that well-informed contribution…..

      • umm…. it's not worth the $60, hence its not a bargain. a neg for a product not worth its discounted 'value' is perfectly legitimate, regardless of its original retail price.

        • how long have you owned the product and what is it that makes you say it is not worth $60?

  • spend an extra $140 and get an ipod touch

  • cheap junk

  • anyone have first hand experience?

what's the benefit of the touch? does the touch have a camera? paying $140 more is a lot.

If you want to take good pictures you have to buy REAL CAMERA.
