  • Anyone can comment on this, I have the 10,000 but would probably want to upgrade to 20,000 with QC as my power banks take way too long to actually charge.

    • +1

I have the ZMI 15,000mAh and it's great; I opted for it over the Pro 3 as two different 20,000mAh 2c models from Xiaomi "swelled" on me in the past and I figure with all metal body it'd and lower capacity to size, the build quality is better. Have only heard good things about the Pro 3 though.

Still takes quite a long time to charge with a Samsung S10 charger (15W), haven't had a chance to try anything beefier on it.

I have the 15,000 and 20,000mAh ones. The 15,000 looks much sleeker and feels nicer than the 20,000, but of course has lower capacity. I use it for my laptop and phone. Both work fine.

I haven't measured the charging speed though. I usually just plug it in and leave it overnight.

    • I only recently purchased the Xiaomi Pro 3 so I can't comment on that one specifically, but my experience with other Xiaomi power banks has not been great. The longevity degraded fast and some of them failed (they will not receive charge anymore), even though I used them sparsely.

That does not mean that this one will have the same problem. It could be designed better. But my personal experience with Xiaomi chargers (I've had a few 10,000s of two different revisions, 14,000 and 20,000 — the 10,000s still work but their capacity degraded fast, and the 14,000 and 20,000 are both dead) is not positive.

I know these don't have Huawei's supercharge technology, but I have 2 of the older Xiaomi Mi 2C (20,000 mAh) and have loved them up until owning my Huawei P30 Pro. The phone can charge pretty quick even if it's not plugged into the proprietry SuperCharger, ie a QC 3.0 wall socket, but for some reason the Xiaomi Mi 2C portable chargers are TERRIBLE. I'm talking 80% charge over 12 hours or less than 10% an hour. Is this down to their 18W output limit?

Would these 45W output units work better?

Waiting for ZMI QB823 to reach afforable pricing.

    • 20000 mAh and PPS…

      • More than double the price for the newer PPS feature.

        • You don't need to pay double to have PPS feature. Xiaomi Power Bank 3 Pro does have PPS feature as well. Here is a detail review

          Xiaomi Powerbank 3 Pro Review – 45W PD, 20,000mAh

          • @O O: Can anyone here confirm that it can charge Note 10+ at least as fast as its supplied official wall charger?

  • Apart from capacity what's the difference between the 2 ?
    Can both charge laptops ?

    • +1

They can charge up to 45W laptops.

The form factor is different. The ZMI can also double as a USB hub which the Xiaomi cannot do.

  • which is better for the switch? not sure which to get so confusing xD I dont think i need a usb hub
