Lexar 64GB High Performance 633x micro SD SDXC UHS-I U3 V30 A1 Memory Card Phone also available 2 for $15.95

High Performance card should be better for dash cam

    • +3

I think they're roughly the same for dash cam.
I think you're referring to high endurance but I could be entirely wrong and happy to be corrected.

    • As above, if you want to use in a dash cam you need the high endurance cards.

You are right, i read it wrong. facepalm

        • 🤦‍♀️

    • I've been using these for my dashcam and they work fine tbh

Cheap as chips (pardon the pun).

I don't need anymore 32gb SD cards but I do need more 64gb SD cards. Thanks OP.

    • I really want to get these because it's a deal, but (humblebrag) 128GB is the smallest memory card I keep these days!

      • +1

Think I might start doing the same after this lot but 128gb are still a little too pricey in my eyes.

      • "dm01" 128gb is the smallest you Buy, or smallest you keep ( no need to toss older smaller cards unless broken ).

        • +1

I should have said 'buy' - I do have a bunch of smaller cards floating around in a container, but my main memory card wallet is pretty much just 128GB cards now (across CF, SD, and mSD).

        Wish granted. 2x 128gb for $36.76

          Ahem…I don't buy 'Ultras'

  • I am a 128GB man these days but needed a couple of smaller cards where 128Gb was never going to be required. Excellent buying.

    • yeah, these are great for DSLR use. 128 is great but even 64gb lasts forever for that. at that price i cant say no and can finally ditch my sandisk's ive been using

So would the Lexar or the Samsung cards above be ok for a Viofo A129 Duo dashcam?

    • +2

I'd buy Samsung over Lexar any day of the week. But for a dashcam, you're better off finding a high-endurance card.

  • Is this ok for security cameras for 24/7 recording? Thanks.

    • No.

    • No, if you need to record security footage get a proper HDD something like a WD purple drive. Flash storage wears out after its been written to after a number of times. HDD's will save you money in the long run for this purpose.

      • I have a NVR and a hdd thatsvrated for security purposes.

I am considering putting in a sd card in each camera as a form of redundancy in case of hdd failure.

        Thanks!

  • Can this be used for Nintendo Switch?

    • Indubitably.

Is this good for filming a sex tape of someone, waiting for them to get famous, then using said footage to blackmail them out of millions of dollars? Asking for a friend.

  • Why are some evo+ slower than others?

    Btw found this gem

My bad, had multiple items in my cart and couldn't see individual line item discounts.

        • Wow bought this and another item together and having to fight to combine postage. Surely that's a rort considering a padded envelope costs literally $2 and apusexpress on charges you $10

  • ebay Plus :(

    Thanks OP. Ordered.

    Are these "genuine"?

I'm about to travelling and don't want them to crap out and loose data.

    • Don't know but I ran a test (H2testw) on one of the cards from this deal and it gave correct capacity but only 16.4 MByte/s write and 1.95 MByte/s read. Seems way slower than packaging suggests it should be.
Maybe I used the wrong test but…
