[iOS, Android] Free - One Year Subscription to App in The Air (Was $43) @ Google Play/iTunes

190

Looks like a useful app. Has synced all my flights from my emails. Would be useful to manage my travel.

Steps -
1) install the app. Link to Android in OP. iOS link
2) click through the app. DON'T accept the 14 day trial period.
3) click on the button on this page to relaunch the app with 12 months premium.

App in the Air is your personal travel assistant that keeps you up to date with your flight, from booking to landing. Designed for today’s frequent travelers, App in the Air’s flight tracking makes it easy to juggle multiple itineraries and loyalty programs with a streamlined interface and features that take the hassle out of flying.

App in the Air makes flying seamless:
• Tracks multiple itineraries, real-time status updates, airport tips, and in-airport navigation maps, flight profile with all your flights logged.
• Keeps track of the loyalty programs, frequent flyer miles amount changes, importing your flight history.
• Even better – the app works offline (gate changes and flight status updates are delivered via SMS requiring no data roaming).
• Automatic check-in. Sit back and relax, the rest is on us. Automatic check-in for 2 passengers: you can add the second passenger for automatic check-in and we will check you in together if it is possible.
• Network with fellow frequent flyers through our ‘nearby’ feature, connecting you with travelers in the airport at the same time as you

Kayak does this as well (and it is always free)

    • I also use Kayak, but if I can get a year free of AITA then why not.

      Thanks OP!

  • I have been trying this out, so this is really handy thank you

    • Yeah, I've been playing around with it and it looks good.

  • I'm on Android. Installed the app, tapped on skip in top right hand corner to all the prompts until I reached the main screen.

Then I closed the app and opened the page listed in step 3 in the OP on my phone, the app opens but when I look at Subscription it shows two buttons related to lifetime and annual subscription.

    Am I doing something wrong?

TLDR: it didn't work for me.

    • Same. Android user here.

  • I got it working after a bit of stuffing around. I deleted the app, used the link to reinstall the app. Opened the app. Progressively used that link to reopen the app (via app store) on every screen that came up until I looked in my profile and saw 1 year premium subscription. I then logged into my account and the subscription carried over.

  • What I did on Android device was
    1. Install
    2. Register & choose I'll decide later
    3. Exit app & force stop
    4. Click on the link for 12 months premium

  • Hmm never done something like this on iOS before, how do I know it won’t take money out of my iTunes when the free trail is over ?

    • I don't think it will, but you can check. Open the app store on your IOS device, tap the "head & shoulders" image top right, and then the third link down "subscriptions".

I redeemed this offer (thanks op!) and can confirm there is no subscription renewal loaded against my IOS account.

  • Awesome, worked for me. I had to uninstall the app on iOS and then clicked through the link to reinstall and sign in.
