  First of all, there’s the matter of the timing of the attack, which NordVPN acknowledges took place in March 2018. It was not until recently, however, that NordVPN divulged the nature of the attack – and that was only after rumors started to emerge that a hack had, indeed, taken place.

  Hacked over a year ago then and failed to tell people it happend.

    For joe blow who wants to watch/buy stuff from OS, it’s fine. But I certainly wouldn’t be using it for business.

    The hacking is a concern, but even the Whitehouse has been hacked. But hiding the fact for so long, is the worrying thing. I wonder he they actually admitted it? I suspect someone was about to leak it.

  Yeah I was pretty shocked to hear the news regarding the breach (not to mention the breach itself was really bad). It's a real shame because beforehand NordVPN was well regarded!

  Aside from getting hacked, their chrome extension is awful, it conflicts with ublock and https everywhere. When I contact support about it, they told me to disable ublock and https everywhere.

  The second major issue is their servers never match my speeds, it more then halves my speeds when connecting a server even in Sydney let alone anywhere else.
