  • I think it's for compatible toner and ink, not genuine.

    • They sell both compatible and genuine products.

At least as far as my printer goes, and the few others I had a look at.

The genuine products are priced competitively but similarly to other retailers.

      • +1

What Fitzwah means is that discount codes only work on compatible not genuine products.

        • Oh I see. I didn't check that.

Thanks for the clarification (on second reading that makes more sense).

        • I just added a genuine cartridge to my cart (I already have 2 compatible ones there) and the discount was only applied to the compatible cartridges, not the genuine one.

I think you may be right @Fitzwah

    • Thanks. I edited the post just in case.

  • My toner is cheaper on ebay, I just bought it for $14 yesterday. This site is $20.26 less 25% and it looks like it's not free shipping either.

    • +1

I bought one cartridges from Ebay that was a few dollars cheaper, but I'm keeping 2 cartridges in the InkStation basket, if the eBay cartridge turns out to be crap.

ETA for my eBay cartridge is 18-20th December

      • Yeah I am worried the ebay one could be crap, but they both say 2600 pages so we'll see.

        • Out of curiosity, can you post the name of the seller?

I ordered mine from Aussie Toner https://www.ebay.com.au/usr/aussie_toner (99.6% positive feedback).

          • @BooYa: I've ordered multiple times from procolor2012 (99.8%), and they have been good. I now just buy in 4 packs, which works out at about $8 per toner cartridge. The brother Originals are about $64 each, which is just plain stupid.

          • @BooYa: That's the one. Aussie Toner. $14 less 14c cashback haha

Can't get originals for my b&w brother laser anymore

          • @BooYa: Thanks guys.

Btw. I still have 2 old B&W Brother laser printers, which work great, but it's a lot more convenient for me to use a printer that doesn't require a cable connection nowadays.

Ps. The first Brother laser printer it must have had a full cartridge in it, because I remember printing literally thousands of pages when I was at uni in '98-'01 (and the print quality was as good as the best laser printers at the time).

What has happened to the reduced size of starter cartridges that come with new printers, over the years, is an absolute disgrace.

        • What do you guys think of this supplier- $12 for an extra large toner (XL) free postage https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/1x-Generic-MLT-D111S-MLT-D111L-D…

Edit. Never mind, it's suss, picture shows the extra large cartridge, but description says regular cartridge.

And when it comes to eBay complaints, I think the description matters more than a photo (which the seller can say is "for illustrative purposes only")

  • i got a fuji xerox and it won't take compatible cyan, anybody know how to fix?

    • My fuji xerox CM 225 works fine with compatible toner from inkstation (FWIW)

Have you checked with the supplier - or if its toner from some dodgy ebay site, which doesn't work, then I suggest you try Inkstation's product.
