Update x 2 - Crazy Price! Might be pushing it to price beat Bunnings this cheap. Good luck!

Update - it’s actually gotten cheaper so I’ve updated the title accordingly. Ripper deal IMO.

Saw this deal pop up whilst searching for some new wireless cameras. Personally this is my favorite Arlo setup as the quality of image is still sharp and retains 7 days free cloud storage.

Once you price beat at Bunnings looks to be pretty cheap for a 2 camera setup. - edit - it’s the lowest ever I can see for the 2 camera kit once you price beat.

  • Does Bunnings beat US retailers?

    • It’s fulfilled via Amazon Au (seller is Amazon US) so it’s an Australian retailer.

You probably shouldn't put Amazon US in the title as it makes it look like you have to buy it from Amazon US.

I would expect the US model's full product number to be different so Bunnings might not beat them.

        • Thanks mate. Updated. Bunnings will just go for the VMS4230P (they did this last time when I matched a 4 camera).

  • How much is the cloud subscription?

  • Has anyone been able to price match this successfully from Bunnings?

    • See below! TL:DR - yes!

  • How is it compared to Ring Floodlight Cam?

Just purchased from Bunnings for $423.14! Took a few minutes to be checked by management but all ok. Great deal - upgrading from original Arlo cameras. Thanks OP! Winner post.

    • Thanks mate. I’ve done it before for the 4 cams so thought it’d be no issue. Glad you got a great deal.

    • First time doing it. What's the process?
Ask customer service to price match and reference the Amazon listing via mobile?
Do they go and verify the price themselves and check delivery fees too?
Note: I don't have prime, so it shows a delivery fee for me.

      • The Arlo security cameras are stored behind the customer service desk at Bunnings. The attendant found the correct Arlo box and matched the model number to the Amazon listing on my mobile. Permission to sell at the discounted price was given by management via phone and took only a few minutes. I have Amazon Prime so no delivery fee was included but I was told that a delivery fee would otherwise have been included in the calculations.

      • You can get a free trial of prime and then have a go?

I’d live to know which Bunnings did the price match? Maybe you could take a snap of your receipt?
I can’t find a Bunnings that is willing to price match this one.

Had these for about 4 months now. Amazing, can't recommend them enough. If your on the fence do it. We have scum bag bogan neighbors that yell abuse at my family when I'm not home and once I set these bad boys up, added a 'Cctv in use' sign I haven't heard boo from them. The quality of footage is excellent and the ease of downloading captures is simple. The live view function is brilliant for when I'm waiting on Uber eats to arrive too!

    Wow - good work OP!

I tried on Friday to get two different Officeworks to Pricebeat this price on Amazon, however both stores realised that the part numbers don't match (despite the model numbers matching perfectly). The Amazon version is the "VMS4230P-100NAS" (I believe the international version), the Officworks (and I reckon the Bunnings version) is "VMS4230P-100AUS", which I believe is the Australian version.

Well done if you managed to get it - don't forget to put in for the Philips Hue set also:

  • Great price, thanks.
Sorry for dumb question - but if its coming from US, is power supply American voltage?

    • I’d have to assume so.

    • Quite certain the power supply would be 100-240V but you'd need a plug converter so it fits into our sockets.

    This or the Eufycam?

I got this today from bunnings, no issue matching…. Also dont forget this - https://arloredemption.com.au/ Free Philips Hue White Starter kit
    RRP - $149

    • My local Bunnings refused to price match because the last 3 characters in model number are different. 100AUS vs 100NAS.

Now got home to buy from Amazon and see the price just jump back up to $451. Just 10min drive. Agrrr.

        • Doing gods work

          • @poxy001: Let me know how you go. I’ve been successful in the past with screen grabs.

            • @LittleTicket: I was lucky got it done before the price went up It wasn't easy getting the price match.

My local Bunnings actually went to Amazon site, and viewed the item's details from there, then compare the model number on the Amazon site with the one on the box in store.

I guess the price difference is too big, and after a spike in price matches, they start to investigate and tighten it up.
