    Presumably TGG via eBay counts as a "Participating Retail Store" for the cashback. I sent them an email seeking clarification, but never heard back.

      The invoice that comes with these types of TGG ebay purchases is a proper store purchase invoice so shouldn't be a problem.

    For what it's worth, I bought the slightly higher model for $1700 last Australia Day promotion at E&S Trading. Model number ends in 6060SA. Has auto ice cube maker.
