Kogan gift card 10% OFF at Woolies from Wed 18th Dec, perhaps spend with Kogan credit card to meet $500 spending (sign-up deal expired though https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/500834 ) then combine with Kogan $500 gift card for better purchasing power at Kogan when they have specials on.

Im looking at obtaining about $550 worth of Kogan gift card at Woolies on Wed 18th Dec, then wait for $500 Kogan gift card/voucher, combine together to get an iPhone 11, so, instead of signing up JB $65/month for 12-month for $500 discount, this is much better way to get iPhone 11 without compromise :)

      use Kogan credit card to buy $550 worth of Kogan gift card for $500 at Woolies, wait for Kogan $500 then you have $1050 Kogan worth to spend. only for those who applied for recent Kogan credit card offer though (spend $500 gets $500 Kogan voucher/credit)

        There is one problem with your scheme, $550 of Kogan GCs at woolies is only $495. Gotta spend up big on another $5!

        Buying gift cards at woolworths with a credit card doesnt get you charged with cash advance? I don't really use credit cards much and am scared to get charged cash advance rates if buying gift cards?

          no cash advance charge at all, been using Amex and Visa to get heaps of gift cards with no issue so far

        Yeah, I was told this over the phone by one store, but couldn't find any info online.

        Regardless, you're not getting access to $50 options like on eBay and via Kogan.

            @RichardL: They seem to be a rarity, as I rang three stores and they either claimed to have $100 card or $100 and $200 cards.

            Better to just get the e-gift cards at the moment.
